I'm not trying to attack you, or your ideas in general. But as they say "the devil is in the details".

If I told you that what's needed applies to 10% of the people, would you really suggest or insist it should apply to everyone? "Hey, $150B can solve this problem. No, let's spend $2T instead."??

Because that's really what's going on here.

Then you say I am attacking you. Calling you "stupid" is an attack. Pointing out your "blind spots" on what is happening isn't.

And if you think the food being served is leftover or expired, then you really do need to educate yourself.
Let's talk about your blind spots.

I've been to a food bank before - not during this pandemic - but I've definitely got personal experience with the kind of food that a Food Pantry gives you. Expired food, moldy vegetables... stale bakery from grocery stores.

Have you?

I've also volunteered at the Food Pantry.

(I remember thinking that the companies that donate the expired food probably write it off as a donation instead of throwing it away and writing it off as loss / expired food. Then they probably feel really good about themselves for donating old food to needy people who don't deserve it - or who want something for free.)

You're obviously the one who doesn't know about what kind of food you receive when you go to a food pantry.

You are amazing.

I live in rural Missouri and YOU want to tell ME what the economy is like here.

Wow!

You know everything about Missouri because you read it somewhere.

Maybe you should spend some time living in rural Missouri and find out what the economy is really like.
This town is full of fast food restaurants and Payday loan stores. We're better off than most because there is a grocery store, an Ace Hardware and a Walmart.

So, you got online and they averaged the incomes of people who live in the metropolitan areas like St. Louis and Kansas City. That has nothing to do with the median income or the job opportunities that are there for the people who live in the rural part of the state - which makes up the biggest part of Missouri.

Once again, you really don't know what you're talking about.

Do me a favor. Let's just not talk anymore.

That's where we are today.
Let me ask you this. Why hasn't Pelosi accepted one of the 9 proposals from 1/2 trillion all the way up to 1.8 trillion? She could have had these months ago. She is also now refusing a straight up version without liability protections. Why is she still refusing every single offer made? Why is she only open to 100% of what she demands and at max cost?

You didn't answer my question. Why is Nancy Pelosi refusing every single offer made to send relief to people who need it?

Simple question. I think we all agree people suffering need help. So why is Nancy Pelosi refusing everything that can help people in need?
