You have the right to separate yourself from your job. Our truck drivers have to wear seatbelts even if they think they are safer not wearing it.
The fact is if you decide you are safer not getting the vaccine that is your right until you infringe on the rights of others. No one owes you a job.
how am I infringing on the rights of others if I don't want to put something into my body? if the vaccine works then the unvaccinated pose no threat to others. you could say the business is infringing on my rights to take an experimental vaccine. oh I get your point but your not looking at this from the other point of view.

The vaccine is not 100% effective. No vaccine is. If you get COVID and pass it on to someone else (who may or may not be vaccinated), you are allowing for mutation which can then impact the vaccinated.
That being said, the business is not forcing you to take the vaccine, so your rights are not being violated. You are full within your rights to not take the vaccine.

i guess if not every employer has this policy it is not a big deal.
what about not being able to fly or go to a grocery store if you do not take the vaccine?
in some states, you can not fire someone if they have a disability or they are gay.

You don't have the right to be on other people's property on your terms.
The unvaccinated are a threat to others, the two vaccines currently in use are not 100% effective. Furthermore it's not your decision to decide what risks a employer should take. It's his business.
I know for damn sure if I'm shopping for a place for an elderly relative I'd be asking about what they are doing to prevent Covid infections and having all employees vaccinated would be high on my list of what I'd like to hear.
Basically you've decided not only is it your right not to get vaccinated but that the rights of businesses should be trampled on and government should forcibly make businesses endanger their customers and other employees to support your so called right.

So are coerced/forced vaccinations (or any manipulation of the body of the individual) and the invasion of privacy the conservatism that you embrace?
You are able to fly as you wish. No one's stopping you from flying.
It's up to the grocery store owner.
some airlines are going to require you to get a vaccine to fly.
so you believe in business rights. I get that my fear is instead of the government taking your rights away businesses can. now some are ok with a business requiring a vaccine but they are not ok with it being a condition for service. if you want to work in certain businesses you must take a vaccine but under no circumstance should you have to show your papers that you got vaccinated to enter a grocery store to buy food.

You should read this thread. I've already said that no one is coercing/forcing anyone to do anything. There's no invasion of privacy. If you don't want to share information, you're within your right to do just that.
These are protected classes. Vaccination is not a protected class.
What about a religious belief not to take the vaccine?
