Easier than 50-100 years ago when there were no such thing as FBI III and NCIC?
Yep. Were there gun shows 100 years ago? Was there internet, where one can order guns and ammo, 100 years ago? Were there as many guns as there are now 100 years ago?
The ease at which one can buy guns, ammo, and semi-automatics firearms.
You are a fountain of misinformation.
You used to be able to order guns and ammo out of the Sears catalogue and have them delivered to your house.....no questions asked, no background checks.... NADA.
You used to be able to drive around with a gun rack clearly visible in the back of your truck....even take them to school.
Show me where to buy a gun without showing your ID and an instant check through NICS?
Buying a gun with scratched out serial number from a trunk of someone’s car behind a dark alley does not count.
Do you need to show your ID and run background check to vote?

So you are saying it was easier to buy guns 100 years ago than it is now? So why do you keep saying it’s easier to buy guns now than 100 years ago?
I am assuming there were less guns 100 years ago because we didn’t have 330 million Americans 100 years ago.

If anything, there were probably more guns per capita then vs. now. Guns were tools, and also freely carried in a ton of places.
So allow those whose hearts and minds are more dangerous to buy guns with minimal, if any, background checks? Does that make sense to you?
The 2nd amendment makes sense to me.
Keeping criminals and nutcases locked up instead of letting people who are too dangerous to allow to have a firearm run loose in society makes sense to me.
Restricting the Constitutional rights of millions because of the actions of a few doesn't make sense to me.

The alternative is allowing the powerful, and only the powerful, to have guns. The number of people shot and killed by their governments is 100 times as great as the number of people shot by their fellow citizens over the last 1000 years.
If you don't like gun violence, you need to disarm your government. Since none of you advocate this, we know that the "gun control" program is really a citizen-control program intended to make people defenseless against government wrongdoing.
What’s the difference between buying gun at private gun sale and buying a gun off a trunk of someone’s car in a dark alley?
