just hire clerks to take information when bad guys are feeling guilty and turn themselves in.
This is going to be good, Cop snags some perp whose lawyer claims he was actually fleeing when the cop grabbed him. Perp gets to walk, perp gets a million dollar settlement, cop gets sued, loses home and job defending himself.

And honestly, I’m to the point where I don’t care. Let the innocent suffer. This is what they want? Give it to them. Maybe when enough women and children are assaulted or killed by these scum maybe they will understand importance of police protection. I doubt it though. The radical left aka democrats will keep feeding them lies.
Yeah, all these women protesting are going to get their wish of no policing and the irony is that they need that police protection, they may not know it now but they're about to find out.
I'm one of the few posters here that actually knows Chicago and one of even fewer that has lived in the city, commuted on it's trains on a daily basis and so forth.
1. This is likely lip-service so she can say she considered this change. But sometimes you have to make a drastic change to reveal the major root problem is a portion of the residents more-so than a portion of the police force. (There do need to be reforms, but some of the stuff is nuts)
2. If they implement this, you will see an even larger spike in shootings than last year and 90+% of them are going to be young minority men (and anyone in the car with them) as the likes of Adam Toledo roam about firing a dozen shots into a car like at the recent McDonalds drive-thru shooting that killed the 7 year old.
Sometimes when the cultural fervor reaches a point where people intent on murder are martyred when they are in turn killed by the police, you just have to step back and let the stupidity of the situation hit critical mass and reset.
