I think that all these people, like the mayor of Chicago, or the squad, or any of them, should put their money where their mouth is and go out on patrol with the police and show them how to do their job.

I remember a long time ago, a friend was working on his car and struggling a bit, even though he was very capable for the task. While I was standing there telling him what to do. Well, he turned around and handed me the wrench. And I ended up learning the lesson.

And don’t give me that stupid ass “he is only a kid” excuse. I am pretty sure I didn’t make that many bad decisions when I was his age
Amen.

No, the kid's breeder needs to be trained better. What capable parent allows a 13 year old out at 2 am, armed? This kid had ZERO parents. That is the problem.

The cop had 4/5th of a single second to decide. Your post took ten times as long to write.

Exactly, I am talking about a lack of guidance from the parents.

I guess parents need to do better with 'The Talk" about interacting with police by adding 'don't run away from police down dark alleyways at 3 a.m. while holding a gun.'

If anyone is out shooting a gun on the streets they need to be stopped and arrested immediately and kept OFF the streets. If the shooter dies in the process the result is still the same and I'm not going to blame a cop for a split second decision like this one.

There are things to worry about, and things we need to accept. This is one to accept.

Ceece, I would understand If he kept on shooting and posed as a threat to the police officer. But if you give someone orders and if they follow them then you should not shoot, Maybe tase them but not shoot that would kill a kid instantly.
