That means he has to be paid?

He is a retired physician who understands the value of the vaccines.

Recent studies of medical errors have estimated errors may account for as many as 251,000 deaths annually in the United States (U.S)., making medical errors the third leading cause of death. Error rates are significantly higher in the U.S. than in other developed countries such as Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Germany and the United Kingdom (U.K).

Analyzing medical death rate data over an eight-year period, Johns Hopkins patient safety experts have calculated that more than 250,000 deaths per year are due to medical error in the U.S. Their figure, published May 3 in The BMJ, surpasses the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC’s) third leading cause of death — respiratory disease, which kills close to 150,000 people per year.

The Johns Hopkins team says the CDC’s way of collecting national health statistics fails to classify medical errors separately on the death certificate. The researchers are advocating for updated criteria for classifying deaths on death certificates.

Were they all pushed out in less than a year's time and with minimal testing, and were they all only approved on an emergency basis by the FDA?

That was fast...one in the media is starting to get some truth out...

WaPo reporter bemoans inability to criticize NIH, Dr. Fauci

A columnist for the Washington Post is taking the media to task for ignoring Dr. Anthony Fauci's ties to research that may have sparked the COVID-19 pandemic.

Josh Rogin appeared on Megyn Kelly's podcast Wednesday, where he countered the public love for Fauci since the start of the pandemic last year.

'I often talk to scientists who say the same thing, who say, "Listen, we really want to speak out about this, but we can't do it," Rogin said on the podcast.

'Why can't we do it? Well, we get all of our funding from NIH, or NIAID, which is run by Dr. Fauci.'

There was extensive testing done, including large phase 3 trials. Studies that were in the past done in sequence were done simultaneously, and manufacturers gambled that their products would be approved and started making vaccine before the studies were even completed.

No doubt other traditional vaccines could have been created in a much shorter time frame if they were done under the same circumstances.

Emergency approval requires evidence of safety and efficacy. The trials produced that evidence, and real world experience (see what is happening in Israel) confirms it. Full licensure of the mRNA vaccines will probably be granted before the end of the year.
