But it's funny that you bring the bolded up. Another interesting perspective is that for the vast majority, covid is not a death sentence. Millions and millions of people have contracted it and recovered.
I agree with you. And millions of lives will be saved by the vaccines.
One has to keep in perspective that millions upon millions of lives are saved by conventional medicine.
My wife and I'd be long since dead if it were not for modern medical miracles.

Granddaughter: Umbilical cord problem during labor, Cesarean section resulted in her safe delivery.
Me: Small bowel obstruction, cured with surgery.
Even DH: Appendicitis as a child, cured with surgery.
My father: Had emergency coronary artery bypass surgery. He was having an almost certain to be fatal heart attack. Lived many years after.
