An Arizona legislator, Rep. Alma Hernandez, who was inoculated two months ago and who also routinely wears a mask, practices social distancing and practices good hygiene, has contracted the coronavirus.

Fully vaccinated Arizona legislator tests positive for COVID-19

An Arizona legislator has tested positive for COVID-19 over two months after her final vaccination.

State Rep. Alma Hernandez of Tucson said in a press release Wednesday that she was fully vaccinated 11 weeks ago, still wore a mask when out and practiced social distancing and good hygiene but had become ill with the coronavirus anyway.

She said her symptoms included fever and a migraine headache. She also lost the abilities to taste and smell. Hernandez said she was quarantining at her Phoenix home, where she would remain for the next week.
So all of that did not protect her. At the end of the day, it is up to her God given immunity system to protect her from this virus, come what may.

So much for the "experts".

So the honest question is, how sick is she? Is she going to be seriously ill, hospitalized, and die? (I honestly don't know, didn't read the article). Because THAT is what the vaccine was supposed to do, not only fight the virus, but also lead to much, much better results for those that DO get sick. Because very few, if any, viruses work at 100%. But I am sure you already knew that.

Experts state the vaccine does not have 100% efficacy.

95% efficacy for the 2 shot vaccines and 70% for J&J, as far as getting covid.

It is not 100% protective. It is 95%.. meaning that in 100 people that 5 can still get the virus.. yet the body is ready to fight the virus instead of taking a few days to ramp up the immune system to fight it off.

This is why older people who have a weakened immune system can have a harder time to fight it off and the death rate is higher. This is my common sense thinking. One can still get it but the body is ready to fight it with antibodies standing by for at least 6 months. This does not mean you can't get it. It is not 100% . Only 95%.

A bunch of vaccinated people may be getting covid but they won't know unless they are sick enough to go to the Dr complaining about it. Same with pre vaccine people who had covid but didn't realize it.

Almost no vaccine is 100%. Even the smallpox vaccine is only 95% effective, yet do we really want to go back to the days of folks having smallpox? Diphtheria vaccines are only 95% effective.

I suppose some might want to go back to the middle ages before vaccines.

It happens. Just like with the flu vaccine. It's not 100% if you look at the data.

Do we have yet again another poster who believes the vaccine works 100% even though no one ever said that?
