It is an interesting article, but your determination is spurious.

It clearly does not comport with the narrative that you have been trying to promote. So it is clear why you might feel that way.

It does, as I had stated earlier in the Pandemic why some cultures and countries seemed to have significant resistance to the disease.

In fact I was a subject in a recovered patient Covid 19 study, where the basis was some of that question. Including previous vaccination history. Specifically the MMR. Some geographical areas with resistance were found to have had national MMR vaccination programs.

In your case the data is interesting. But it does not say what you want it to say.

As for me, I make these sorts of evaluations based on 'What' I am going to believe, rather than 'Who' I am going to believe.
1. The article does not support your point.

2. Math does not work.

we're 80% off our January peak, and ~50% off our minimal uptick in early/mid April

we might stay above 20K cases forever, unless we dial back the cycles to realistic levels

As another said here 95% effective. Since Texas and Florida have removed all restrictions cases have fallen and done so quickly.

Go back to school, go back to work, live your lives. Some will get ill most of our citizens will not. Life is like that.

Move forward.
