The point is anyone who wants to wear mask, I respect. They are certainly responsible for their own well being. If they ask me to wear one in their presence I will comply. The times are still sketchy for a lot of people.
Was she not vaccinated, it sounds? People still not taking it seriously unfortunately.

It seems Walmart attracts those who are most susceptible to classic conditioning, especially from within a certain economic bracket. Of course, I can't speak for all Walmarts, but that seems to be the case for the local stores. I rarely visit a Walmart... too many "special" people.

Especially when you're shoplifting 60 inch TV's out the front door.

For me I see mostly foreigners (Indian, Asian, etc.) and younger kids still wearing masks.

Kids think its cool. Foreigners already had it in their culture.

Strange, but true.

I never saw anti-maskers making a scene but I saw some that were flagrantly violating the requirements in stores. This psycho woman I encountered was either on a power trip or just plain a mental case....she was a fat/obese woman buying very unhealthy foods and I am a very fit person buying healthy foods so I think it also possible that I made her feel bad just because I take my health seriously and she was an unhealthy fatty.

I feel like donning a hazmat suit when I go into Walmart, especially on the weekend.

A certain demographic has adopted wearing the mask as part of their mantra of the morally good and responsible thing to do, which bears no relationship to the reality on the ground. The closer I am to more urban and progressive neighborhoods, the more mask wearing I see. It's quite interesting.
They are extremely conditioned, they look up to their tech overlords as god-like and believe everything that is pushed on them by tech and Big government and academia. Other voices are shut out. They believe "The Science" over science.

People are going around acting like the pandemic is over. It is in remission because of the responsible people who got shots, but with 150,000,000 or so remaining unvaccinated as the most contagious strains we have seen so far are accelerating, things are about to get bad again. Some people get it. Wearing a good N95 mask is a smart precaution.
