Donald Trump knows, he's intellectually inept to testify on his behalf. Oh, well...

Another important issue here is the FCC Fairness Doctrine which was revoked and we've seen the degeneration of news reporting that ensued. Legislators need to take another look at this. People should approach this in the interest of truth and fairness, not partisanship. Also the lack of trust in the media has led to problems disseminating information in an emergency (eg pandemic).
To add to the complexities, a previous court ruling made Trump's Twitter feed an official presidential record... it will be interesting to see how that sorts out.

so which is it - private companies can or cannot decide what customers they want to serve? Of course hypocritical Trumpers want to have it both ways

That's every troll's rationale. "They're silencing me because they can't handle the truth." But - they're not.

I don’t always get banned from social media platforms, but when I do, I prefer to be banned permanently.

I'll be by later to spray-paint a BLM logo on your car. My First Amendment right to free speech extends to the use of other people's property, right? (Please leave the garage door open.)
