Grocery stores have TOO SMALL of back rooms to stock-pile stuff. I worked in that business in my past.... Few were designed to store things but for what was needed for that week..... more in back --- on the floor to sell.

Warehouses were always working at capacity to store excess. Still the case today. So many Food warehouses are far from huge places to store months of supplies.

Clearly why..... when a change of containers from overseas or within the Nation are disrupted. It QUICKLY Ripples throughout the Nation of supplies as we saw last year.

I see no HOARDING going on by me in Rural Appalachia PA. Merely a Walmart for one that shelves are low at times after busy shopping days. Government check days always one. Mostly cause of staffing and Warehousing issues of working at limits and still hire and fire people seen as not performing at the required speed.

Panic buying in EVERY ERA would have the SAME RESULT. Plus a supply-chain.... that is always working at limits and storage is not designed for the long haul of HUGE WAREHOUSES merely to store commodities in case of a shortage by high-demand.

We do have National storage and Private energy firms for Oil etc. Wells capped for a future use or higher price era. For FOOD? Perhaps sadly not so much and Essential products we become accustomed to just going to the store and it always there.

ALWAYS SOME RADICALS PREDICTING GLOOM AND DOOM... sadly. the World ending and One World Order and Armeggeddon is nothing new and is always there from Religious circles to Political ones.

Now we are A POLITICAL EXTREMIST ERA that came QUICKLY in a few short years. Sadly, on C-D they CREATE MOST OF THE THREADS.

We had Extremist claiming implosion, invasion, communist take-overs for all the 20th century. From the Cold war and fear Aliens was a fact hid by Government, to McCarthism of Commie radical fears that one man promoted and lost. The Radical 1960s socially changing and its effects with us today.

Makes me wonder in a few years.... how all these CONSPIRACIES WILL PLAY OUT?? Maybe finally some will get their wish or prediction to have us FINALLY IMPLODE FROM WITHIN. All your $$$ and investments saved will be moot. All cannot have a bunker home in the boonies and fill it with everything for months and years..... many a hippies and those seeing all this today .... many decades ago. Lived their lives NEVER SEEING IT even in old bunkers in the mountains.

Deficit increased about 9 trillion under Obama in 8 years. 7.8 trillion under Trump in four years.

I believe there's a golden Trump statue you can now down to.

And what is inflation, but theft? Unapologetically they come right out and say their target is to steal 2% of your money and "the people" just nod their heads.
We are living in a cartoon land.
LOL...
But you CAN explain where the inflation comes from... and it's not "too much money chasing too few goods."
Why not?
FEDERAL RESERVE NOTES / aka / Dollar Bills
https://www.federalreserve.gov/releases/h41/current/
Search report for “currency in circulationâ€
Federal Reserve Banks . . . Jun 10, 2021
Currency in circulation . . . 2,180,167 thousands (2.1 trillions)
(Population : 331,449,281 ; $6,577 per capita)

That is definitely not "too much money chasing too few goods!"

So what factors DO inflate prices (debauch the money tokens)?
Taxation. Taxation of American labor and production. Common sense tells us when you TAX something you increase its price. Worse, is tax shift inflation that occurs afterward. That's when there is a delay between when taxes are collected and spent, and when the bill shows up in the retail price. (Customers are the REAL taxpayers. Where else do laborers and companies get their money to pay their taxes? The invisible pink unicorn of socialism?)
To illustrate, imagine you're a factory owner who builds a new factory, financed by a 30 year mortgage. In year one, you paid for the construction and all related taxes on the labor and production. 29 years later, your overhead includes the mortgage on your factory, which you pass on to your customers. So they're paying for taxes collected and spent 29 years early.
Multiply this scenario across the nation, and you can see how indeterminate the tax shifting is, which explains why eCONomists pretend it doesn't exist.

Remedy?

Simple - abolish ALL TAXES ON AMERICAN LABOR AND PRODUCTION.
Make America into a TAX HAVEN.

Guess what happens next.
Companies flock back to American shores. Jobs. Jobs. Jobs. Good paying manufacturing jobs.
Prices fall, fall, fall. No need to boost prices to cover taxes -and- their administrative overhead.
NO MORE INCENTIVE TO HIRE UNDOCUMENTED LABOR!
There goes the illegal alien dilemma.

Abolishing taxes also means abolishing socialism - no more freebies to entice having "anchor babies."
Uh oh, never happen.
Governments never, ever give up power and revenue unless they have to.
(Usually only after a number are .... [censored])

Trump only had four years.

Do the math on the average per year.

I guess you think running a near trillion dollar deficit in 2019 is ok because Obama didn't do it.

Let's not forget M2 increased by 26% between February 2020 and February 2021. The highest percentage rate increase since 1943. That certainly doesn't bode well for inflation in the coming months. Gonna blame Biden for that factor?

So basically in the last year of the Trump administration we ran a 3.1 trillion dollar deficit and the largest percentage increase in M2 since WWII.

But Obama lol

To give Trump credit he does defend the persecuted Karens. He's a true conservative. Lol

Anyone think another virus will be unleashed again? I am not taking any chances. It could be worse.

Does anyone truly believe that ??

Shadowstats, using the 1980 government algorithm, shows 12% inflation.
Alternate Inflation Charts

From what I see in my weekly food shopping I'm going to go with shadowstats and act accordingly.
What comes out of my pocket supports the higher.

This is concerning. It could be coincidence because it's summer time and people are going camping, or it could be because some people in the know something is going to be happening and want to be prepared. Just saying, but it is the 20th anniversary of 9/11, and maybe some people are planning to hit the mountains and wait it all out from the big cities.

The Chinese have certainly figured out they just have to send a few sick people over and let the anti mask anti vax morons spread death and economic despair.

I've stocked up on masks and have a home based vaccine lab.
