You are VERY mistaken if you think people's deliberately irresponsible actions impact no one else.
Then what do you propose the government should to regulate peoples' sex lives who don't want to have a baby? Should it be made a felony to fornicate? Who knows how many people who do that don't want a baby and won't use birth control? At least we have laws against drunk driving. What about irresponsible sexual behavior, since it concerns you so much? If you knew two fornicators were going at without using birth control, would you love to call the police on them, if there was a law against it?

So, would you strongly support a law making it a felony for couples who don't use birth control while having sexual intercourse when a baby isn't desired?

The people who want all or most abortion banned sure don't support regulations. After all, you can't regulate whatever you want banned.

Would you want to ban abortion for those 5% of women for whom birth control failed? Simple question.

Just for examples. Failure could be an IUD became dislodged or the woman got a bad batch of birth control pills.

It's about the responsibility to prevent a pregnancy.

There's a woman who has 3 kids under 5 years old.

She drives them around in her car. A lot.

She doesn't use car seats, they just hang out together in the back, not one of them protected by a car seat.

She gets in an accident and 2 of them are killed.

Is the issue her driving? Or the fact that she was completely irresponsible because she refused to use car seats?

What is the actual problem?

Are you going to argue about her driving record (sex)? Or about how irresponsible she was in her behavior (lack of use/improper use of BC)?

The problem is the lack of responsibility. Her total irresponsibility when it came to ensuring the lives of her children.

Yes, I'm all for use of bc if pregnancy is not desired.
Btw, if successful, a potential human was not to be.
Huh? Abortion is killing the unborn which is what I pointed out so how am I in the wrong thread?

Stuff happens and a woman knows the risks prior to engaging in sex so no I'm not in favor abortion in those cases.
