The previous administration planned to withdraw the military forces before evacuating the embassy personnel and civilians? They planned to provide so little coverage of the evacuation that crowds of people swarmed the apron at the Kabul airport and clung to the sides of planes as they took off? Do you have any support that this is what the previous administration planned for? And if it was, why didn't Biden see it for the disaster that it would be and change the plan?
I have no idea what the previous administration's plan was, do you?
Being that it's the Pentagon folks that would actually formulate this plan, and the folks in that building are very much the same now as they were in Feb 2020 - why would you assume the current plan is different from the plan under the past administration?
At least Biden had the balls to pull everyone out after 20 years. . Does anyone else have a better idea what we should have done? Its easy to criticize but Biden did it and got it done. Taliban was going to take back the country regardless. Thats just the reality of it

Nobody wants the US to stay there, that's not the issue. It's how we're leaving, we look like some third world country running with our tails between our legs while a group of insurgents has us n the run. We have a feckless leader who can't organize a 2 car funeral. This is amateur hour Biden. Nobody will forget this. Nobody will respect us, we look like cowards.
