Maybe we could try planting a trillion trees like China is doing on the edge of the Gobi Desert.

The North American entire continent east of around the 100th meridian was once covered in dense forest.

Is there evidence that 8 billion people have an influence on the earth’s climate? I’m not the one claiming man is causing the climate to change, you are. Are you a climatologist? You have zero credibility to make such an assertion that man is causing the climate to change. What proof can you provide that man is causing the heat spell we are going through?

I trust climate scientists more than end times preachers and talk show hosts bought by the fossil fuel industry.

The report is from scientists, not enthusiasts, or alarmists, but I suppose that you like so many others think you know more than trained scientists...You don't.

"Trained scientists" can also be zealots and alarmists.

Ha. Yeah, this has been going around for several years how 97% of scientists agree that man is causing climate change. First of all, science isn’t settled by a poll. You fail there. Science is settled by facts and data, not guesses. The truth about science really is that it is never settled. It’s a discovery process where often the guess work is more times wrong than not.

So, what do these 97% of climate scientists agree on? Do these scientists agree we need to stop using fossil fuels? How do we know they agree? When you actually examine this study “the view that the Earth is warming up and human emissions of greenhouse gases are the main cause” is only endorsed by a handful of scientists.

.
Then you can point out the evidence in this rambling where humans are the cause of climate change?

So there is a consensus among climatologists that man is causing the climate to change? It isn’t possible the climate changes naturally?

Yes to both, but we all know that the real issue here is that the political party that aligns with your side of the culture war is also the party that has a vested interest in preserving the status quo on environmental regulations. The actual science or facts don't matter.

If the Democratic Party denied climate science but positions on all other issues were the same, you would probably be on the front lines fighting for climate action.

The increase in global warming is inversely correlated to the NY Times subscription revenue. But good that they're keeping this going for when the COVID panic porn becomes less believable.
