You don't have to get vaccinated. You can be tested every week. The choice is yours if you work for one of these employers. Or you can go to work for an employer who has 99 employees or less. We're trying to get a handle on a pandemic. Drastic times call for drastic measures.
He has zero authority to mandate private companies with 100 or more employees vaccinate their employees.
Private companies I would expect he can not, but corporations he can because corporations receive federal benefits. However, his plan doesn't make this distinction. I don't know why 100 is the magic number, as if that makes it under some federal authority. It's a power grab I think the gov has taken before. And he's ordering OSHA to enforce it.
I was waiting for the part where he says the science shows the obese are at the most risk, so they should lose weight. Oh wait, we are woke and feel-good now about the obese.
