Im sure I must have missed the mandate for illegal immigrants (thousands and thousands and thousands and thousands) to get the vaccination. Surely theres one for them.
get the home kit for $27. You get two tests in each kit
A home test kit is a good thing to have around if you are exposed to someone with COVID or if you experience symptoms. Otherwise, there is no reason to test per the CDC.
I still do. However, we're in a crisis situation so sometimes drastic measures have to be taken. Not convenient for anybody.
I have a friend who has been delivering items to the hospitals for one and half years and he is considered essential worker. A very hard working man who lives alone. He never got covid because he was pretty much outside everyday. He certainly made a lot of people's life more convenient.
He is unvaccinated and I see no point of forcing him to take the vaccine. Plus he managed to work as a delivery guy for so long without getting covid, he should just be left alone.
I didn't see government giving him even a free mask a year and a half ago. And now all of a sudden its get the vaccination or get fired? Wow. Just wow
Before anyone gets too riled up, the "proof" process being rolled out today for federal agencies I'm familiar with is going into an online tool and selecting a box that says either you have, or haven't been vaccinated. Simple as that. If that is good enough for Fed Govt, I imagine it'll be good enough for private business as well. No papers, no evidence, nothing, which makes this entire thing toothless and good for nothing other than virtue signaling and shaming.

Even that's overreach. No means No. End of Story. Any attempt at influencing a personal medical choice attempted by anyone other than your own doctor is inappropriate and should be a federal felony. There's a reason doctor-patient privilege is a thing.
