Too bad.

No more taxes OR spending until the federal government can run on a budget surplus for at least 10 consecutive years.

BTW if you want to continue this spend-fest into perpetuity, feel free to donate your own money to the IRS. Me, I'll take a hard pass on that one.

Easy math:

At 10% tax rate, a person who makes a million dollars a year would be paying 10 times the amount in actual dollars that a person who makes 100k a year would pay.

Why should the person's rate be higher than 10% at 1 million than it is at 100k?

So he can pay MORE than 10 times the amount that someone does at 100k??

And you call that "fair share"??
Because the wealthy steal it from the working class...The wealthy used to pay 70% tax rates.

The irony of this statement is killing me.

We've had this discussion here before.

And like always, you simply have no argument at all without resorting to emotions and hyperbole.

Lolz.

How do you get wealthy stealing from people who have no money?

Has a poor man ever given you a job?

You steal their productivity by paying them a substandard wage while charging a high price for their product or service

the top 1% (a few) hold ~ 1/3 of the wealth (1/3 is not "all").

I bet leftists would be shocked to know that the top 1% went from:

24 to 29% under Clinton (dot.com, before bursting back to 26%)
26% to 29% under Bush
27% to 31% under Obama
FLAT or slightly DOWN under Trump
Up already 1% under Biden

When does anyone, rich or poor, say its time to raise our taxes... who does that?

One bureaucracy that's off limits is the Military, the biggest unaudited swamp in Washington, the biggest waste of taxpayer's dollars. Bernie Sanders nailed it: To attack military spending is political suicide. And No President, Democrat or Republican, is going to attack the military spending. That's a no-brainer.

I live in Tucson, and is there any reason they need to keep Monathan Air Force Base open when we have Luke in PHoenix, Creech and Nellis in Las Vegas, and Edwards in Lancaster. Any time it comes up, close it down or not, the cry is it will impact the economy in Tucson. Neglecting to say it would be a relief to taxpayers.

And how many more bases could shut down in this country and still keep the country safe?
