But you are dead wrong about AGW being real. There is nothing “real” about it, other than being a REAL BIG LIE.

But if we just used a little common sense, and opened our eyes, we might collectively see something other than the internal view of our own rectums.

1) the climate of earth is in a state of perpetual change, and has been for as long as the planet has existed. These are cyclical events that have been occurring long before man existed, and subsequent to the emergence of human beings on earth, continues. The time representing man’s use of so-called fossil fuels, industrial activity and modern society, represents a mere fraction of a second on the cosmic clock. These climate cycles, which have produced higher global temperatures and higher levels of atmospheric CO2 in the past, including times when man didn’t even exist in prehistoric form, obviously were not caused by SUVs, Internal Combustion Engines and cow farts. So, the logical and rational conclusion must assume that these changes we measure today are driven by the same natural forces and mechanisms that have driven climate for millions of years before.

2) we need to understand what climate is, and that there are three fundamental states of Earth’s climate … a glacial period, and two interglacial periods, which either lead into or out of that glacial period. And these three all operate in cycles lasting hundreds of thousands of years. The glacial periods are the worst, when the Earth’s global temperatures drop low enough to literally freeze the planet, causing most of life to perish. Plants, animals, humans etc, dead and life is unable to survive. Then we have a warming cycle, where the Earth is exiting a glacial period, and life begins to restore itself, and once again flourishes as warmer climate supports it. Then we have the last cycle which is a cooling trend as the Earth once again begins its return to another glacial period, and as temperatures continue going down, life also declines.

Of these three climate periods, one stands out as far more desirable than the other two, and it’s quite obvious which one that is. It’s obviously the period of warming, where life flourishes. It’s obviously not the glacial period, nor is it the period of cooling which signals our direction heading toward another glacial period. Consequently, it is beyond illogical, and better defined as idiocy to look upon global warming as a bad thing, unless of course you have a death wish, or you are a member of the elitists who have already declared their belief in overpopulation and the need for reducing the number of human beings on earth by 90%.

3) the biggest error being made here, aside thinking that global warming is bad (regardless of whether it’s natural or man caused) when it is really the best possible news, is the misunderstanding of warming and cooling trends which are measured in short durations of time, such as decades or even in 50 and 100 year increments. These short duration trends do not identify which of the two interglacial cycles we are actually in, because each 100,000 year cycle does experience periods where temperatures can increase for 50 or 100 years, and also decrease for 50 or 100 years, while still remaining in the same interglacial period, heading toward or exiting out of a glacial period. So, we could witness temperatures increasing for a very long time, even though we are heading toward an overall cooling, and vice versa. So therein lies the fraud when the climate con artists tell you “this is the hottest summer we’ve had since 1952”. The proper response should be, so what? That’s irrelevant. Means nothing.

But if anyone still wants to wish for something, for god sake don’t wish for cold. There is a reason why most people, and most animals and most plants prefer spring and summer, and why the trees go bare of leaves in the cold winter months. It’s why farmers plant their fields in the spring, and not the fall. And why spring showers bring May flowers.

And as for this fraud of “climate change” in the practical sense ... has Earth’s climate actually changed? Are the arctic regions no longer the arctic? Are those tropical Island paradises no longer tropical? Are those sub-tropical regions no longer sub-tropical? The answer is, all of them still are. And oranges still come from Florida and California, not Wisconsin and North Dakota. And fresh produce is still being produced year round in Mexico, as it has always been.

Start worrying when you see a banana stamped made in Canada, but as long as you keep seeing Florida Fresh Orange Juice on the shelves, it’s OK … the climate hasn’t really changed much

It’s time people start thinking a lot more, and believing a lot less.
Well said.

We totally agree here. But taking care of that problem isn't going to get the lockdown of the economy they want.

Now, I believe that the climate is changing, but naturally. I'm not against doing something to help the environment, but it must be REASONABLE. That's where your party loses people.

The way your party handles these things comes off as tone deaf, as if it has nothing to do with the climate, but power and control.

I've said for years that the Republican Party would benefit greatly from having some environmental policies that were reasonable and common sense to counter the insanity the Democratic Party is offering.
This in spades

I am a conservative who has always been strong on protecting the environment. We bought one of the first hybrid cars 15 years ago (Lexus) have geothermal heat and air and am an organic gardener. Many of my conservative neighbors have solar on their roofs.

It’s the radical extremism and the left’s hypocrisy on the environment that turns people off.
Rich liberal climate alarmists flying around in private jets, owning multiple resource wasting
mansions, wasteful huge yachts, driving around in limousines, etc etc and lecturing us on how ignorant and selfish we are that stops our support.

Our climate-alarmist democrat politicians want to buy DIRTY oil and gas from countries with no environmental regulations (Iran, Venezuela etc) instead of opening up our oil and fracking which has the strictest environmental regulations in the world….how hypocritical is that???
This level of DEEP hypocrisy and $$$corruption around climate change along with censuring opposing facts and data is why there’s such a lack of support from conservatives.

Temperature reading devises were found on top of big buildings next to heat generating equipment. Many didn't even work, etc.

Some of the scientist research were found to be funded by partisan people, etc.

So after the embarrassment the supporters changed it to "climate change".

The Democrats need to promote 5 folding the taxes on gas cars and push gas prices to $15/gallon to encourage everyone to go green.

Get with the program. We still need oil. It’s a necessary evil. Until we find a feasible alternative, oil is still going to be burned. That doesn’t mean we should not work on alternatives but penalizing oil like what the Democrats are want to do is only going to hurt ourselves in the immediate future.

Trump knew that. Republicans knew that. That’s why they supported oil production but also did not discourage alternative energy sources. Stupid Democrats do not understand and went to war against oil and we are now in deep doodoo because of it.

no we have posters gaslighting......

All of the international scientific organizations....that measure CO2....point to China causing the warming

...and China is increasing it's CO2 emissions many times faster than we could ever reduce ours

If the USA stopped all CO2 emissions today.....China has increased it's emissions so much it would not make one bit of difference

Government/business stand to make big bucks by pushing climate change.

The carbon credit racket is raking in truckloads of money by trading literally nothing.
A company uses more carbon than they are allowed so they go buy some carbon credits in the market and *voila*...they are compliant.

It boggles the mind that people think trading "nothing" is going to save the planet.

And Al Gore wanted to implement carbon credit trading here in the US. Thank goodness he was stopped.

1. we are in an interglacial period, and in an interglacial period the earth warms

2. with warming the earth gets moister, more tropical, and the deserts get greener

https://climatechangedispatch.com/th...etter-greener/

https://www.fairplanet.org/story/wor...tting-greener/

https://www.nasa.gov/feature/goddard...greening-earth

3. with the warming, less earth is frozen, allowing for MORE planting of crops... a frozen earth (glacial period) is where food it harder to obtain and people will starve

4. no-one is saying the climate doesn't change...no-one is claiming the global warming doesn't happen in an interglacial period.... but the fascist liberal mantra of "Man-made" is what the hoax is

5. there is NOTHING that man can do, to stop the warming, and NOTHING man can do that will stop the flip, when we get to the peak (last 5 interglacial periods peaked with global average temps being about 73-75'f (currently at about 60'f)) and it turns to a glacial period
