1) Take care of one's immune system: modest quantities of real whole food, exercise, sleep, manage stress;

2) social distancing;

3) masks, preferably N95 masks made in USA, not that KN95 Chinese crap;

4) the periodic mitigative shots (so-called "vaccines" - they ain't vaccines, they are more akin to junk food);

5) therapeutics.

Each of one these "solutions" individually by itself gives false security and a false sense of security. All together, however, they comprise a management toolkit.

ALL OF THE ABOVE. IN THAT ORDER OF PRIORITY. ALL AT THE SAME TIME, FOR A SUSTAINED PERIOD OF TIME.

Problem is pharmaceutical company executives and their revolving-door colleagues in government are dominating policy for a single-faceted "solution" which never comes.

Sounds like a sweet deal, for them, doesn't it.

I would hope that EVERYONE is complying with those five things. If so, then I can't imagine why we are experiencing the surge that we're going through now.

People are quite welcome to do those things but a vaccine is the most effective protection.

Why is the NFL, one of the most vaccinated groups, struggling with a spike of cases?

Then there is this:

“A new study out of Columbia University says the Omicron variant is “markedly resistant” to vaccines and boosters might not do much to help, spelling bad news for the country as Omicron spreads and COVID-19 cases rise nationally.

“A striking feature of this variant is the large number of spike mutations that pose a threat to the efficacy of current COVID-19 vaccines and antibody therapies,” according to the study authored by more than 20 scientists at Columbia and the University of Hong Kong.”

Cases are going up but not because of the vaccine, cases are a concern but hospitalizations are the largest issue.

My guess is that the symptoms are mild. But hey, why pass up a chance to wreck society? They didn't quite succeed over the last few years.

Were they fallacious because they were cherry picking, or because they were red herrings? Surely a master logician like you understands that those are two different types of logical fallacies.
