Please note that of the recent cases in this study - only 177 (13%) were unvaccinated while 1103 (87%) were vaccinated and many boosted.
There are cases and then there are cases, vaccinated do not normally end up on hospitalized unless they are over the 6 months from their first vaccination.

"Before they walked in the door, they had a normal life. They were healthy people. They were out celebrating Thanksgiving," she said. "And now they're here, with a mask on their face, teary eyed, staring at me, asking me if they're going to live or not."
Michigan this week had more patients hospitalized for Covid-19 than ever as hospitalizations jumped 88% in the past month, according to the Michigan Health & Hospital Association.
We're seeing more people die at a rate we've never seen die before," said Jim Dover, president and CEO of Sparrow Health System.
"Since January, we've had about 289 deaths; 75% are unvaccinated people," he said.
Of the very few vaccinated people who died, all were more than six months out from the last shot of their initial Covid-19 vaccine regimen, he said.
"So, we've not had a single person who has had a booster shot die from Covid."
The 97% are so worried about the 3% that they feel the need to shut things down? Isn't that what the right said the left would still do when the left claimed it's just temporary?
Wow! What a bunch of silly worriers.
If you take proper steps to protect yourself, you should never have to worry about what anyone else does. No lockdowns, no mask mandates, no forced vaccines, no forced distancing.
That's the science of it all.
That's 3% infected by Omicron which is likely an undercount but the US fully vaccinated is 61% so that puts 39% of the population at risk, possibly more depending on how far out people are from their first vaccination.
Regardless, hospital admissions are surging right now from the Delta and Omicron variants because of Thanksgiving and holiday shopping.
Two shots or prior infection apparently have little effect on the omicron variant. We will have a million cases a day or more in the US in a couple weeks. It's too late to get protection now. Unvaxxed and vulnerable - prepare to meet your maker.
You do realize that the survival rate for unvaccinated individuals who get covid-19 is 98%.
Not an argument on my part to not get vaccinated, i think everyone should.. but you have a real good chance of surviving if you do get Covid even if your not vaccinated...

While I tend to agree with the technical grounds of your assesment in the first sentence, you apparently couldn't resist the temptation to throw in the usual Leftist hype and cackling in the second.
Hopefully, we'll be able to hold you accountable for this in a few weeks.

I'm fine. There is something wrong with people who refuse vaccination. We have to stop kowtowing to them, worrying about their feelings. Actions have consequences. It is too late for them to get vaccinated now, so the only hope they have is that this omicron turns out to be less virulent than delta.
There are multiple reasons why some people may not want to get the vaccine and it can be based on science.
A vaccine can be a serious health issue to some people. Not all people are the same. That is the science of it all.
You don't know anything about me. I am fed up with unvaccinated people who have been putting our health care workers through hell and prolonging our national misery. Damn straight. To hell with them. And I am right. What I don't know I freely admit and that is how bad this is going to be in unvaccinated people. There just are not enough of them and enough of them who have health problems yet to draw any conclusions. I am sympathetic to people who have autoimmune conditions and especially children who can't be vaccinated. The people who are putting them in harm's way are the ones who won't get vaccinated although at this point, it probably no longer matters as only boostered people are going to avoid infection - and that will only be temporary.
You obviously don't believe in science, because science has already shown vaccinated people and even people boosted with a 3rd jab can still catch and spread the virus.
The CDC indicates 79% of Omicron cases in the US were fully vaxxed.

Science denier.
Yes vaccinated can test positive mostly asymptomatic but they don't end up on ventilators for the most part, a large majority of those ending up in ICU's are unvaccinated.
Since around 61% are fully vaccinated and 70% have received one shot, is it surprising that they test positive in large amounts, that's a simple math problem.
