This is the Russian Ambassador at the UN today speaking about the US:
"They themselves are whipping up tensions and rhetoric and are provoking escalation," Russian Ambassador Vassily Nebenzia said of US and NATO motives. "The discussions about a threat of war is provocative in and of itself. You are almost calling for this. You want it to happen. You're waiting for it to happen."
That is the Russian Ambassador. Not good.
Of course the Russian ambassador is saying that. He should be. That's expected political rhetoric.
Now, if the American ambassador starts saying that, then we have a problem.
In this upside down switched parties world that we now live in, it will be the conservatives protesting the draft and the liberals advocating for it to include women (equality) and the righteousness of fighting russia (trump)
Biden & DC are pushing for war. Will they enforce the draft again for those 18-35 ? We are greatly outnumbered by ground forces of other countries.
Wonder if those that voted for Biden thought they might have to give their life, or the life of a family member, for him and his administration.
If they reinstate the draft, Ukraine ain't their motivation. Young woke conscripts would be trained for domestic action (illegal as hell, but when did this administration care about that?). Mark my words.

The draft is for cannon fodder, not specialists. If they need engineers, they'll contract 'em.

Are you retired military or a member of the Retired Reserve? If so, you can be recalled for a certain number of years after separation.
Typical lefty logic in an attempt to deflect from reality and current events. Dems are pounding the table for conflict - they need it as cover for their inept handling of Covid, Afghanistan, inflation, etc. and as an excuse to justify more fiscal irresponsibility. "When all else fails they take you to war".
