Wanting a specific number of any position in any industry to be filled by a certain number/percent of a specific racial demographic is wanting to violate the Civil Rights Act.
Having a policy (which the NFL currently does not have, but is on the verge of being dumb enough to implement) that demands/regulates a certain number/percentage of a certain racial demographic occupy a specific position within an organization is in fact a violation of the Civil Rights Act.
Essentially, these calls for "diversity" are nothing more than using suggestions, threats/use of negative PR and other informal economic sanctions in order to violate the spirit of the Civil Rights Act without actually violating the letter of same.

The NFL DOES have policy that states for EVERY coach opening job a black HAS TO BE INTERVIEWED!
Why don't you White guys start producing kids who can beat out these Black kids?
I love how righties can't understand the difference between coaching and playing relative to the skills required for either task. Coaching requires zero physical talent other than the ability to stand there, yell at officials and players and blow a whistle in practice.
There are a lot more people who can do that than who can actually play sports at an elite level.
Yet righties keep equivocating coaching and playing.
White men are pretty good at producing Super Bowl winning quarterbacks. There's only been one full black QB to lead his team to a SB victory.
White men are also producing the best tight ends in the league and one even produced the best wide receiver in the league.

Like we’ve seen in Pittsburgh over the last many years, regular season wins don’t mean much as standards are higher, and only 3 playoff wins in the last 11 seasons has been very disappointing, but Tomlin is a great regular season coach.
