It must suck being a Russian soldier attacking Ukraine.

Aside from the expired rations, and poor logistical support, they are the targets of warriors from all over the world, determined to kill them.

All this and a good chance their paychecks are worthless.

Russia’s Central Bank announced that though the currency market and commodity trading will reopen today, trading on the equity market will remain shut down during the week of March 14.

This will be the third week.

Speculation is no longer about whether the Russian economy will collapse, but how long until it does.

Kremlin has replied to stories that they are asking for aid from China.
They say they have ample supplies.
Central Bank of Russia will keep Stock Mkt close till 3/18/ 2022

Meanwhile reports have come out that FSB heads are under house arrest.
Seems Putin feels he was given bad information on how hard the Ukrainians would fight for their country.

Russia has now invaded Ukraine

Yikes! Here on Day #19 ---of ongoing horrors and atrocities from Vlad the Invader's unprovoked and unnecessary war on the independent democratic free nation of Ukraine---it is obvious this thread has been invaded by cheerleaders of criminality, apologists for aggressive authoritarianism and promoters of Putin propaganda.

Yep, another thread taken over by non-stop proliferation of outlandish history re-writes, preposterous & mendacious justifications for international law breaking and disgusting deflections and distractions from Putin's detrimental dismissal of agreements that have kept the peace across the European continent for decades.

The preponderance of postings over the past several days are trying to spin & present a farcical view that is not only abhorrent and disturbingly twisted but deadly dangerous...and one thankfully not shared by the world writ large.

Reality: Putin's Russian invasion of Ukraine is Wrong. Full Stop.

I am currently staring to wonder if Russia is losing. It was reported today they are asking China for assistance. That seems like a desperate move. Also it was reported yesterday that Russia is finally in "the right mind to negotiate"

All of it seems to be pointing to them losing.

That is really awful, if true.

Russia has agreed to humanitarian corridors, so hopefully it will be honored in that part of Ukraine for people to evacuate
Comrade Wintergirl80

Corridor goes straight to gulag...Ukrainians are not that dumb
