You are speaking for yourself and this is YOUR right. Who are you wanting to say it’s over, the government? In my opinion, it’s not over, and won’t be over until the many variants, including new ones, can be effectively controlled by vaccines.

I want the government to go back to whatever hole it crawled out of and leave me and you and everyone alone. Drop all mandates. Drop all "guidance". Abolish ALL Covid regulation of any kind whatsoever.

You can choose to act like it's not over. I'm going to go back to normal life with zero precautions. And the government needs to stay the hell away from us both and leave us both alone.

We have adapted to the new normal. The last 2 years have been pretty good, in spite of masks, social distancing, etc,. You take what life has given you and make the most of it..

No one should have to "adapt" to anything except of their own volition at this point. That's my point.

Everyone has to adapt to survive. Our adapting wasn’t a result of any government mandate, but rather a personal choice to protect ourselves.

Well some have to adapt to government mandates. Those mandates need to cease to exist.

Nope. What I think the Democrats are going to do is say gasoline is too expensive for poor people to drive to the polls so the Democrats can go back to cheat by mail.

It's like the Covidians don't want it to be over - they love the fear, they love the mandates, they want everyone else to be a sheeple like them. Bleat and obey!

For us, we don’t really care what others do. It is their right to do nothing. We don’t live in fear, we hate mandates. The last couple of years have been some of the best of our lives, in spite of the pandemic, and in spite of the personal precautions we have taken. Life is what you make of it. If it’s not COVID, it’ll be something else.
