" Let me guess....Superman Trump?"

Why do you have problem withus being energy INDEPENDENT like we WERE under Trump?

I swear, some of you would sacrifice your kids if it would hurt Trump in some way!

TDS is alive and well!

It was a political play from some on the right. Common sense would tell you it would be the middle class and poor paying for this war. Gas prices were already up big under Biden before all of this, he doesn’t get to play innocent now after capitulating to the far left on energy policies

It’s loony to call such a track record successful.

Try as leftists do to deny it, Trump did more for world peace with the Abraham Accords, alone, than Biden did in all his 40+ years of government service.

On another note, honest people would ask if Biden’s son’s connections with Ukrainian companies is helping to drive Biden’s response here. There is a clear conflict of interest. Ukraine suffers and Biden’s son suffers financially. Maybe there is no connection but, again, this isn’t even being discussed.

The left only cares about these types of things if they can tie Trump to them!

When a DEM is involved, wipe it under the rug!

That there were Republicans chanting to ban Russian oil and it is in part their fault it happened and part their fault gas prices went up in the last week however Biden had a large part in gas increases overall with his anti fossil fuel agenda.

And from the video there are republicans on the bandwagon of get Putin at any cost even if starting WW3.

And finally with ALL the intelligent people in the U.S.A how do so many times morons get into important jobs like government

Remember, Obama said it was a requirement that we increase gas prices as much as possible in order to force people into conserving and going green.

This is all planned. Higher energy prices is what Democrats want. They have said so straight up.

Obama and the Democrats want higher energy prices. They told us so.

“If somebody wants to build a coal-fired power plant, they can. It’s just that it will bankrupt them,” Obama said, responding to a question about his cap-and-trade plan. He later added, “Under my plan … electricity rates would necessarily skyrocket.”

“There’s one promise he’s kept. One promise he’s kept,” Mitt Romney said on the campaign trail in Illinois last month. “When he campaigned, he said he wanted to raise the price of gasoline. He said that under him, energy costs would skyrocket. And then he brought in a trio of people to help him implement those policies,” Romney said, according to several news outlets .

Crude oil Production million barrels per day, 2022, 2023 predicted:
2018 10.99
2019 12.23
2020 11.28
2021 11.99
2022 12.03
2023 12.99

Look at this chart for the last decade and tell me what you see, the Obama administration promoted green energy throughout, did oil companies worry about constraints and increase pricing?

So a MILLION barrels a day difference is pittance to you?

Did you know that we imported Russian oil under Trump this isn't some new policy.

Remember gas lines back in the 1970's when we were going to divorce ourselves of dependency on foreign oil all forgotten. Remember when we were protecting fuel inefficient vehicles until we raised the CAFE standards. But here we are still much too dependent on fossil fuels and of course we need to go hat in hand to Saudi Arabia because Americans love cheap oil.

Meanwhile electric vehicles which is the direction the world is heading, not just here are unscathed the world. But in the US the right wing thinks EV's are some sort of dastardly plot. Yes let's keep drilling for more oil, that has been a time proven solution.

So yeah, ask the president to ban Russian imports then complain about increasing prices, that makes sense if you're Kevin McCarthy.

Obviously many factors account for the spike in gasoline prices.

The oil produced in Alberta is low quality and expensive to refine but (without the added expense of rail transport) still profitable to bring to market.

Like other more expensive methods of oil extraction, such as offshore drilling and fracking, tar-sand oil serves the purpose of keeping the price of crude oil below a certain threshold value.

Take away any of the alternative sources of crude oil and the market price will rise slightly depending on the source's relative cost of production.

The choice to boycott Russian petroleum inflicts pain on Russia and also consumers of that oil.

Had we not preemptively slammed our own dick in a car door by canceling Keystone (and assuming it would operational at this point) the pain inflicted on Joe Nobody would have been significantly less.

They want him to stop the buying of Russian oil, yet are not willing to accept the sacrifice that comes with that decision.
This is just absurd.

Biden waived sanctions against Nord Stream 2 earlier in '21 reversing course from DJT. Last month Biden had to reverse himself.

The Russians have been amassing troops adjacent to Ukraine at an accelerating rate since last year.

Our clumsy, clownish actually, withdraw from Afghanistan set the tone.

Not ending Russian oil imports the day Russia moved into Ukraine was a mistake.

Being tough with Russia does not mean going to war with Russia.

Sending Harris across the pond is weak. Joe probably isn't up to the trip though.

Team Biden not coordinating with the Poles in advance vis a vis shifting air assets into Ukraine is a further fail.

Hamstringing domestic O&G was a mistake.

At every turn Joe has been ham fisted, late or both.
