Keep telling yourself that as you vote dumber and dumber "leaders" into office each election cycle. Ten years down the road, when we are a combination of Venezuela and Somalia, it will still be the aftermath of the plague, no?

Prices of goods are going up because of higher wages too.
People in other countries didn't get big checks to help survive. Everyone struggle.

Maybe some people should reevaluate their budget? Cut on "wants "and only get "needs"? At least for a while till things stabilize?

so what you are saying is that people should just suck it up....hmmm

this inflation is because of liberal polcies… heck Obama and Biden stated they want to see $10/gallon gas

I made stew last week. The potatoes, carrots, celery and onions were a little expensive but not too bad. Then I went to the meat section to get some stewing beef. A package of 8 little squares of stewing beef smaller than ice cubes for $19.50. The hell with that, I ended up buying those little Banquet sausages that come in the yellow boxes for $2.
I added a lot of black pepper and seasoning, didn't really miss the beef. As I was leaving the store I noticed a sign in the window that read " Thank You Shoppers." At first I thought it read " Thank You Suckers."

That's 12.5 percent increase.

Your definition of not gone up much differs from mine.

Compared to other items that have nearly doubled 12.5 isn't much.

actually stew meat (really is just leftovers) was at about $2.00/lb less than 2 years ago

so 3 to $9/lb...is a huge increase

It’s funny everyone is talking about stew beef, which happens to be one of the things I bought. It was $10.11 for 1.1 pounds.

Things could get ugly if credit dries up and food stamps aren’t increased substantially (though that would just make things worse in the long run). I don’t see us pulling out of this tailspin any time soon.
Everytime i go to the store soup goes up 30 sents a can stan. Used to be 1.80 and now $3.30. This is nothing yet expect everything to go up 4 times what it is now. We will never pull out as the end is near now.

I did alternate day fasting last year to lose weight. I am doing it now to save money. Maybe this inflation thing is for our own good?
