Awful, Awful, Awful. 3 more years of a clown president who lies to America saying we should still spend more money. It won't add a cent to inflation. And even more awful a lot of dummies out there will buy into it.

LOL Geeze calm down it was sarcasm . But yes... diabetics can fast under medical supervision.

Nevertheless.. fasting every other day is what Biden has brought us to and flippantly refuses to address. I am starting to feel like a Russian right before the Revolution.

We want Peace, Land, and Bread!

We are already enduring a President who is half demented blaming everyone but the dog next door for inflation and a VP with only knows one thing Ukraine is a much smaller country than Russia.

34 posts and nobody has mentioned rent yet. My rent went up a lot more than my gasoline, on a prorated annualized basis. Absolute dollars, not percentages.

Also, don't be fooled by the 7.9% CPI number due to constantly and consistently revising the inflation calculation to get lower results. Calculated by 70's methods, CPI is up at least 12%. Politicians are whores. Every adjustment made to the inflation and unemployment calculations made since the 1970s has been intentionally designed to make a lower, rosier picture of each. It is a lie. Don't believe it.

I haven't seen stew meat at $2/pound for years if that's what you meant. If you mean it was $2 less per pound two years ago you should know that beef prices started going up about four or five years ago and haven't gone down since. The beef guys I know have told me each year they've gotten more for their steers.

That's just a terrible thing to say to someone whose spouse is sick.

I can't believe we're resorting to personal insults on a thread about inflation -- which is real and will affect us all.
