Every time I go to the supermarket several things I buy have gone up in price. Personally I can afford it but it is quite shocking. And I am sure those having trouble getting by before all this inflation hit have to be suffering.

Better figure it out, this is just getting started.

Stew meat is a crap cut...

I could get a London Broil (very good cut) for less than 4.99 per pound back in 2019

I was able to get T-bones last summer (yes on sale) for 6.99 a pound

to have stewmeat… cubed chuck, one of the lowest cuts there is at 10/lb... is ridiculous

Inflation, Binflation?

Ingrates! Can't you see that Trump is no longer President? Any sacrifice is worth it for him to stay out of the White House. ANY SACRIFICE! And Trump was voted out! Isn't that enough for you?

if i see beef of any kind for less than $4/lb these days, I buy it, because that's a rare thing to see around here.

In addition to what you just stated, now the financial experts are calling for hyperinflation. 50-50 chance right now we enter into that territory. They are throwing numbers around like 30 to 35% annual inflation. This is bone chilling numbers. If you have $100,000 in cash sitting in a bank account that means in three years it would be completely worthless. Something has to give pretty soon. Now my mind leans a little on the side of conspiracy, I think some of this is being done purposely. But who knows. I am unfortunately in the situation where I have to shop for a new vehicle. $40,000 buys you an average four-cylinder basic SUV. It’s gotten insane. In two years they say the average car price will be around $80,000. What are people gonna do then?

All I know as we definitely are living in “interesting times” and unfortunately it looks like it’s going to get even more interesting.

It was enough for me. I know how to be frugal, I live my life that way.
