Pssst....

It's been endemic for a long time now.

Well please explain why I never even got a hint of a cold or flu these past two years? You can say it's because I work from home, but I still go out. I go to supermarkets, stores (and sometimes crowded ones too), church, public laundromat and even take the subways on weekends.... all wearing a mask. Haven't caught any virus in over two years! Why is that?

If you can enlighten me why I've went from 1-2 cold/flu viruses per year to NONE in 2 years, then I will stand corrected!

Oh sure I completely agree.

But there's a big difference between coming straight out of college into an office/management job for $XX
and working your way to the same pay level from an entry level position.

Until you answer my questions, I'm not going to answer your questions, cool?

Ok, so you have no answer. Why am I not surprised? Good day, sir!

This afternoon one of my foster moms was doing an adoption at the applicant’s house. When she arrived with the dog the entire family stepped outside and shut the door behind them. They all sat outside on the floor of the front porch, all wearing masks. When she mentioned doing a quick in-home check they refused to let her inside saying they were scared of Covid. Two adults in their 30s with two kids over 10 y/o. It’s heartbreaking that over two years later these people are still terrified catching Covid.

You provided an anecdotal experience. Where’s the science to your mask claims?

I have yet to meet anyone that caught Covid while wearing a mask. Almost everyone who got it has caught it when they didn’t have a mask on.

Do you personally know anyone who wore a mask at a grocery story and caught Covid there?

In other words you have no science to back up your claims. I know plenty of people like myself that only wear a mask when it’s required that never got Covid.
