If porn and liquor is what someone wants that is certainly fine by me.
I dont think God is punishing you. Many people suffer from various mental health issues that certainly affect their social and intimate lives. I hope you can find the help you need with your issues and find happiness.

why do men want to go out and try to meet women when there is so much trouble that comes with it, when they can just stay at home and watch porn at their leasure?

Porn certainly did exist back then. If you wanted to watch porn you'd go over to the local video store and walk behind the curtain and browse the adult dvds. Sure it's easier to access today but if one wanted to be a porn obsessed loner, it was a possibility.

I thought about posting this thread over there, but I feel it is more suited for this sub-forum due to it's highly controversial nature and the wider social implications of this topic. This subject would probably also not get nearly as much interaction over there as it is getting here. I feel this sub-forum is by far the best for lifting the lid on controversial topics.

Porn is pure cancer. If it were up to be, it would be banned.

I want prostitution legalized because:

-as someone else said, it will happen whether it is legal or not. Making buying and selling sex just as legal as buying and selling pizza would massively reduce the risk level for everyone involved- both the prostitutes and the Johns.

-It would give men, particularly lonely, loveless, and sexless men, a way to attain sex and intimacy with a female, as well as give women who have little to no skills or employability a way to make a living.

-Prostitution, the mere act of exchanging sex for money, harms no one, and legalizing it would not cost anyone anything. In fact, it would likely bring in billions of dollars of additional tax revenue for the federal, state, and municipal governments.

What are your finances like? What about your grooming and physical health/fitness?

I'm nearing your age but have the opposite mindset. I'm the most psychologically content I've been my entire life and am focused on building myself. For now I'm content with the direction I'm taking and the goals I have set, I will grant you I have years of psychological self help theory under my belt that has made journey possible.

It's easy to blame God but in the end it's hard to be human.. we have irrational drives left over from the animal kingdom and evolution that can be very hard to manage. Walking to break at work and having that craving to want another Larabar but I want my body fat to be down around 15%... I have to walk by my locker with that intense craving trying to pull me back like a magnet... then I have to walk by the displays full of food that take a mere press of a fingerprint to make a purchase, all high carb high fat dopamine stimulating items like muffins, chips, cookies, candy bars... sit down at the table with the craving still there, and mindfully observe it and finally distract myself by opening the "clefs" app and trying to memorize the treble and bass clefs as I learn musical theory all the while resisting the urge to come on either here or GLP. This is my journey. It's not easy.

Since I'm stuck incarnating here, might as well make the best of it. I will admit I still lack the good playful banter skills but I'm not worried about it. I'm taking this process in steps ... one thing at a time rather than trying to handle too many things at once. Rather than focusing on women, focus on building your life up. If one comes along, they come along. If they don't, they don't. Mindset and attitude are everything, because it's hard to want to socialize when you don't feel it... have to biohack to get the brain to be in the appropriate vibrational state, with the right combination of emotions and brain chemicals taking center stage. Read Joe Dispensia's books.

I am not against legalizing prostitution. I'm not so sure about all the benefits you speak of though. In theory it sounds good but I have yet to find much in the way of studies, one way or another, discussing the actual impacts of legalized prostitution. The only thing I was able to find was a study saying in countries in which prostitution is legal have not shown any reduction in sex trafficking. Perhaps there is just not much information on the subject out there.

I get the impression though your reasons are more selfish. I'm afraid sex for hire is sex, not intimacy and dont think prostitution is just a male customer/female supplier. There is quite of bit of male/male prostitution going on.

I'm sorry but really, a way for no to low skilled women to make a living? So what about you? If you lost your job, was low skilled or unemployable would you just start having sex with strangers for money? You speak as though its like washing dishes or putting a widget on a digit.

Sounds like an idea.
So the pimp, as we know it, is replaced by the government.

Everything is taxed, sex should be no different.

The only people who would be interested in buying my "services" would probably be lonely old gay guys. I am not gay, so this would not appeal to me in the slightest.

The male equivalent of becoming a prostitute would probably be joining the military.
