Remember the Maury Povich show that would air on daytime TV, with some skanky woman sorting through multiple men trying to find their "baby daddy?' How many of those broads were slim and attractive? LOL.

But you believe you can cite some anecdotal examples that show happy couples at a football game, as if that actually means anything? Don’t be ridiculous, and don’t be so naive.
Of course I never said or would even insinuate that everyone is miserable, or that there are no happy couples or any other nonsense you’re attempting to suggest. For example, as horrific as the divorce statistics are, at slightly over 60%, that obviously means that 40% are staying married, so that’s a lot of people. But does that then mean the 60% figure is then of no concern? Absurd. That figure is astronomically higher than it was just 3 decades ago, and contrary to this leftist Marxist ideology which is hostile to the nuclear family, those family roots have always been the foundation of our nation … the middle class, which is being murdered in broad daylight, and your solution is get an internet connection, engage in capitalism, and make that easy Million? Stop watching those absurd YouTube commercials that come on every 2 minutes now with guys who claim “I made 20 million dollars on line, and click to watch this free video that tells you how …. For 49.95”.
And divorce is just one data point, but indicative of a much larger problem. We have increasing suicide rates (and I’m not counting the increases due to Covid) increasing significantly over the past 20 years. We have massive numbers of people on antidepressant pharmaceuticals, and something like 25-30% of the people polled have at one time sought or received mental health counseling? And, maybe you just arrived from another planet recently, but the overall hostility among people polarized by politics and race and gender and sexual orientation is just out of control. Economy? THERE IS NO ECONOMY … you just haven’t received the memo yet, but it’s coming, and you remember that, if you remember nothing else.
Listen, my opinion is not a product of a fatalistic mindset, but simply the truth. And it’s based on being on this rock for quite a good while, and through personal experiences not just my own, but many others, friends, colleagues etc. And my knowledge of the past isn’t something I was taught about in some social science class, but was real life personal experience. I was there then, and I am here now, so I can authentically testify to the differences. Therefore I am not reliant upon leftwing propaganda and indoctrination claiming how horrible it used to be and how much better it is now, and how much progress has been made. It’s a freaking lie. It’s George Orwell’s 1984 on steroids. You don’t realize you are living in a gigantic insane asylum, because you’ve never known anything else. All you know is what you’ve been trained to believe. That’s all.
And many of us can see how effective the programming it has been, especially the effect it has had on a significant number of 20 and 30 something’s, who have a head filled with nonsense. They don’t know any better because they don’t know anything that’s real.

School shootings have always happened, but Columbine was different. Columbine was pre-planned, nihilistic violence for violence sake. Eric Harris, the mastermind who manipulated Klebold to go along with it, was a budding little psycho who felt he had nothing to look forward to, who, consequently was on all kinds of anti-depressants and psychotropics. Namely Luvox.
Having just turned 30, I grew up with the internet as well. But it can be broken down into particular eras, and ESPECIALLY if you lived in a rural area with limited access.
Eternal September happened in 1993-1994, because of my dad's job we had internet access in 1995, I didn't start regularly using the internet from a desktop until 1997. And if you lived in a rural area that was hours away from an urban area, it was practically unusable. Where I live, internet was basically Web 1.0 all the way until 2003 when broadband finally hit Eastern AZ.
Web 2.0 is basically 2003-2012 or so, rise of Facebook, rise of Youtube. I started trolling on gaming forums, and joined city-data during this time. Watching stuff like AVGN, and Youtube hosted user content that was free range, and even borderline criminal. What really changed the environment of all this, was the advent of the iPhone.
The iPhone, was basically Eternal September part 2. Because now EVERYBODY has access. Not just those with a niche for using laptops and desktops, now everybody is on the net.
Look at the rate of male virginity in American men. It SPIKED after 2008, and has only gotten worse. The iPhone and dating apps, I am convinced played a role in it.
Unfortunately, I still fall within that demographic. But I saw something shortly after I joined this site in 2009, on this very Relationships forum. Lots of angry young guys my age, lots of being chaffed by the recession at the time. Lots of red pill/blue pill talk. Much of the problem we are seeing now, were seeded back then. And I don't think it's ever going to be fixed.

I don’t have any crosses to bear. My dating life isn’t restricted to America or Americans. I don’t have to be a 6’2”, funny, charismatic, perfect fitness model to find dates or companions, I can just got to a location where local women don’t care about that.
Same goes for women, if they don’t like their odds in America, they can easily take some trips to Brazil or the Caribbeans to find their partner.
Just because someone doesn’t meet the western standards of attraction, doesn’t mean they can’t go find someone who doesn’t care about the western standards of attraction.

This is absolutely true. It is not something a woman can possibly understand. It never ever EVER wanes. I kinda thought that might change with age. I'm pushing 60 and it's showing no sign whatsoever of abating.
