Sad. Daily mail says a white young man with long hair did the shooting. My bet is a young liberal who hates the 4th and is upset over Roe. Another shooting in a “tough on guns” state and area. I hope the shooter is found soon.
The gunman, who has not yet been identified, was described by Highland Park police as a white man between 18 and 20 years old with a small build and longer black hair. He is wearing a white or blue T-shirt...

Chicagoland death toll for the weekend might be in the 20s when it's all said and done. At least 7 dead so far in the city from regular routine violence and now 6 dead in Highland Park, just north of the city limits.
That's outrageous and sad.
It's really 12 in Chicago, but news doesn't count homicides that happened before 5 or 6 pm Friday for weekend tally.

Normal mentally healthy people don’t commit mass shootings. Sorry for the breaking news.
I never said shooters were normal or even "mentally healthy." But most mentally ill folks such as myself are actual the victims of a crime, not the perpetrators. Most of the mass shooters in the past have had serious anger issues that they cannot control. Anger is not a mental illness
