It's legal to purchase long guns out of state, and no address in the state of purchase is required. However, the sale must comply with both the laws of the state where the sale takes place, AND the state of residence of the purchaser.
Doesn't it have to be shipped to an FFL in your home state unless you have an address?
One could also doubt that right-wingers would shoot up people in an El Paso Walmart and high schoolers in Oxford, Michigan, but that is indeed what happened.
The latter was done by a 15 y/o who didn't let politics affect him. I know you hate the right(and I do too) but can you try to come up with facts, evidence and context to back up your claims?

Long guns can be purchased from a licensed dealer out of state, and the purchaser can take immediate possession (assuming that the gun and the purchase complies with the laws in their state of residence). Handguns must be shipped to a dealer in the purchasers state of residence for transfer.
In neither case is an address in the state of purchase required.
Chalk up another one for the defund the police/soft on crime team
