No. Later when we look back. These are actually the Model T times for EV's. I dont want to invest in them now. When they get to be self charging as you drive, or have a 1000 mile range, call me.
I am curious if the left have convinced you to go EV or if you are still sticking with gas, if that is what you currently are using?
My husband has leased a Volt for 9 years now. It's a hybrid which I think is the best of both worlds. He drives in city traffic an hour each way. Gas never kicks in. And he plugs it into a normal electrical outlet when he gets home. He has saved so much money not paying for gas all these years. I don't think electric cars are quite ready for long distance travel yet. But in city traffic it saves a lot of money on gas.
Not until I can drive it 500 miles on a charge, stop at a station, and recharge in 5 minutes, then be on my way again.
We went with a hybrid. The fast chargers are too far apart for long trips and the crowds sitting around waiting to charge at the local ones reminds me of gas rationing.

I could be mistaken but there is also savings on maintenance along the way.
I've thought of it, only for the fact that I want an alternative to gasoline in the event that Gasoline were to suddenly become scarce.. ..but under ordinary circumstance - not yet.. ..they cost too much for what you get.
If gas prices keep rising under Joe "I will shut down the oil industry" Biden, I will have no choice.
So I'd like to thank all of you struggling taxpayers for the $7500 subsidy beforehand.
