I`m a Dem but I`m okay with seeing what the GOP can do about global inflation. So far, their plans have been kept secret but I`m listening.

Real Clear Politics is now projecting that Tudor Dixon will defeat Governor Whitmer in Michigan's Gubernatorial race.

https://www.realclearpolitics.com/ep...rojection.html

And, given the poll that was just released in the New Hampshire Senate race, showing Senator Hassan only ahead of Don Bolduc by two percentage points, Real Clear Politics, could also change their rating on that race, too.

All the Republicans have to do is stop spending money that we do not have. That is all that can be done, unfortunately. Inflation has to run its course.

kelly and hobbs may not be the brightest bulbs, but even they know better than to have vegetable xoe come down to stump for them. he'd probably lose them an additional 5 points each.

Then one day not long ago here in Mesa, Az the price of gas jumped. Then it jumped again.

Now it's back to 4.79. (fell to $3 this summer yet was under $2 in 2019)

Most Americans don't understand why a gallon of gas cost so much. Who really does? But they don't like it,

The same with the cost of groceries. It's a "supply chain issue." Whatever. The cost of everyday items like vegetables, bread ect. have noticeably increased. Voters are upset and rightfully so.
and beyond that - every single dollar people had in the bank last year is now worth ~ 88¢

so everyone with any savings of any kind starts off in a hole before they even consider buying anything at these inflated prices.

inflation is a political wrecking ball for incumbent governments

Fetterman and his wife were dumb enough to welcome Biden. Fetterman was already dumb before the stroke so you know who is running that campaign.

We felt the same way when the media pushed us Biden/Harris in 2020 during a worldwide pandemic. They lied a lot and the media went along. The best kept secret hiding in the basement so don't come now pretending that what's going on is not fair.

That would be an interesting flip.

Tudor Nixon was down at one point at something like 35% to Whitmer's 55%.

The RCP Polls show

Whitmer 49% Dixon 47% D+2 || 10/19/22 || MiRS/Mitchell Research
Whitmer 49% Dixon 44% D+4 || 10/19/22 || Cygnal
Whitmer 49% Dixon 44% D+4 || 10/14/22 || Emerson
Whitmer 44% Dixon 44% D+0 || 10/12/22 || AMGreatness / Insider Advantage

Whitmer 47.75% Dixon 44.75% D+3 || RCP average, adjustment of 5.7, that yields an R+2.7

But the list of RCP polls doesn't include

Whitmer 49% Dixon 44% D+4 || 10/14/22 || Cygnal
Whitmer 49% Dixon 38% D+11 || 10/12/22 || EPIC-MRA

Tossing in the polls that RCP ignored...

Whitmer 48.16% Dixon 43.5% D+4.66. The RCP 5.7 adjustment still yields R+1.04.

In reality it has almost nothing to do with the actions or inaction of the current Administration. Just look at the recession and inflation of the 1970's. That crossed numerous Administrations both Democrat and GOP, and none of them had any significant impact on it either way.

Funny, your lying party weren't saying that in 2020. The push was Biden and the Democrats will beat the virus, turn around the economy and bring the country back to normal and be respected around the world. The fact is more Americans died under Biden, inflation went way worse, gas prices way up due to government spending, bad government policies and Biden got us closer to WW 3 nuclear war.

Admit it, all the lies and fear mongering your party accused Trump for 4 years, the Democrats were the ones that did it. We are closer to WW 3 since the Cuban missile crisis. All Biden.

indeed..

House Whip Jim Clyburn (D) claims Democrats KNEW their wasteful spending would cause inflation — but they did it anyway
