Whitmer 48.16% Dixon 43.5% D+4.66. The RCP 5.7 adjustment still yields R+1.04.
Ohio, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Michigan are all interesting. The inflation and gas prices are the #1 issue which Democrats have ignored. Many voters are coming to the hard fact that the "inflation act" has nothing to do with inflation and more government spending is adding to the problem. They feel they have been lied to.
18 days left and the house of cards is falling very fast for democrats. It's the dominoes effect. If Wisconsin governorship falls that will spread to Michigan or make it real close.
kelly and hobbs may not be the brightest bulbs, but even they know better than to have vegetable xoe come down to stump for them. he'd probably lose them an additional 5 points each.
Your are smart enough to know that is your choice Joe. You never play the Wheel of Fortune at home. Give me a letter "J". Give me a letter "D" for dumb. Give me a letter "W" for WW 3.
Today's inflation started back in 2018, at least, if not before. Trade wars, disrupting supply chains, increasing prices of products.
Inflation doesn't start within 12 to 18 months, there are numerous actions that contribute to such a cycle.
I saw the price of certain goods going up 20% or more because of a trade war in 2018...and I knew those prices weren't going to be reduced. And then more followed. Then the pandemic hit in Feb 2020 and worldwide production slowed.

There is absolutely nothing interesting about Ohio. As someone born, raised, and living in Michigan, I felt the need to make that point.

Saw an interesting comment on the inflation and gas prices concept - would you rather have cheaper gas prices or a functioning democracy?
The Michigan GOP has put forth a clown show for Governor, Attorney General, Secretary of State, and some US congressional seats.
The GOP candidate for the Michigan 3rd Congressional District has commented that the 19th amendment to the US Constitution should be repealed.
The GOP candidate for AG is under investigation for illegally obtaining and tampering with voting machines. Previously, he led an unsuccessful attempt to claim that the election in one county was fraudulent, only to be proven wrong in a manual recount.
The GOP candidate for SecState is a full-blown election conspiracy nutcase, not exactly a person who should be in charge of elections.
The GOP candidate for governor has stated that a 13 year old girl who was raped by her uncle should carry the resultant pregnancy to term. She only got the nomination because the two GOP candidates in front of her screwed up their candidacy petition signatures...and because she was hand-picked by Betsy DeVos.
All of the above have no prior management experience, let alone government experience. But they all have endorsements from the former president.
There are three proposals on the ballot. Two of them are opposed by the state GOP. All of the proposals are expected to pass with at least 60% of the vote.
The Michigan congressional delegation will probably go 7-6, but it's up in the air whether the Republicans or the Democrats will win. One seat should have been a slam-dunk for the GOP, but see above about the guy who said that women shouldn't be allowed to vote.

IMO, off-year elections aren't subject to the domino effect so much. There are no national coat tails to ride.
Speaking of gas prices… the clown in chief just said today that the prices are down another 10 cents.
Well, yea…. You are tapping the emergency reserves. Sooooo artificially lowering the cost.
Just watch what happens after November. Hang on to your wallet folks
