I'll be the first to admit I don't know a lot about her, but my gut feeling is not to trust her. She's a turncoat; a Benedict Arnold. No one trusts a turncoat. The British used but scorned Arnold.
In my experience, people switch parties for political gain. She was an adult as a Democrat. She knew the core values of each party yet initially went with the Democrats.
If she truly had a change of heart (I would say change of mind, but she is a woman ), then God bless her and I wish her successful.
I completely disagree. The party she chose to be a part of, has ignored those core values and shifted, and isn't the same party. Choosing party over our Constitution would be more of a turncoat than leaving a party that has morphed into something that isn't even recognizable.
To be fair she grew up as a democrat under Bill Clinton's era, not the war-monger-open-border-globalist democrat of 2022.
or maybe she is a turncoat because she knows the democrats are in trouble in 2022 and 2024. it's better to abandon ship now before it is too late.
Completely agree. I wonder how old some of the people on here posting are because I am the same age as Tulsi, and the Democratic Party decades ago (as well as the Republican Party) were nothing like they are now. They were both much more centric. I can definitely see how she could want to switch. Although I’m independent, when I was younger I was a democrat, and slowly as I’ve aged I’ve become more and more conservative on issues. Though I’m not conservative on all issues, hence I’m independent.
But bottom line is that I don’t know why people think that she can’t her stance from the Democratic Party of 2022, which does not resemble the Democratic Party she grew up in.
What happens when that party skews so far left, they make communists look good? The party she initially "went with" is not even close to the party that exists today.

I don't know what party you affiliate with, but I would remind folks that Trump was a registered Democrat for years before switching parties and running for president as a Republican. Just sayin........
I'd love to see moderate Dems join her in some way, without having to leave the party, because I feel that is too extreme, and isolating.
More moderate dems need to stand up to the radicals, and expel them from the Dem party, but so far, not enough are willing to stand upto to them...scared perhaps?
The Reps get Tulsi who is smart upbeat and pretty. The Dems get Liz Cheney who is none of those things.
A win win.
That’s one thing I’ll give the Republicans.
Most of them are easy on the eyes or at worst average looking, unlike the cast of freak show outcasts you see on the left.
I'd imagine right now there's quite a few politicians who would like to leave their party and go independent. In both parties. Each party is diverging too much from the mainstream, leaving moderates in a difficult position.
