#1 are you being paid by people poorer than you, or richer than you?
#2 which system is better than the capitalistic system?
#3 which Oligarchs are paying zero taxes? Please provide link?
#4 if some are paying zero, but not breaking any IRS laws, is that wrong?
#5 who is making the income tax laws?
#6 who is rigging the system against them? Is it a political party, or all politicians, or big biz? Both? Who?
I can't wait to see your answers.
I've benefited from capitalism, I'm not the one complaining. My thoughts reflect what I'm hearing from people on other forums.
Bezos, Musk, Bloomberg, Icon, Trump, Buffet ..... pay little to zero taxes. They are not breaking any laws, our tax system is rigged to favor the wealthy.
How would you feel if you were in your 30's and trying to buy your first house but the cost of the housing market is greatly inflated because guys like Bezos (100+ billion) are cornering the real estate market because $100 billion is not enough. It's beyond frustrating for the younger generations and I feel their pain. Do you?

Why should people take a job that is not worth their time would you take that job? That does not make them lazy that makes them smart.
Just can't understand this thinking. Back in '07 i was working a job making $52 an hour, with all the OT i could handle, then '08 hit. I was laid off, and couldn't find anything. So i took a job for $10 an hour at a friends marina. I didn't have to, i had savings and unemployment, yet i did. It was the hardest work i had done, but i wasn't going to sit around with my thumb up my ass. It was a long year, but that extra money helped out. We were still able to live our life, and enjoy our hobbies without dipping into savings. I actually think we were able to add a little to our savings.

The top 1% paid ~40% of all taxes, so I doubt the Billionaires paid little to zero, unless their company's had massive losses in that year. 1/2+ of Americans pay ZERO net federal income taxes...is that fair?
The top 1% also create jobs, & those employees pay a lot in taxes too.
I was in my 20's and 30's & struggled to buy my 1st home...condo actually. Interest rates were 16% in 1981, so I could only qualify for a 14-1% adjustable rate mortage that could go up 1%/yr.. which it did every year until the entire building burned to the ground just before Xmas 3 years later.
I made me tougher, smarter, and more determined than ever to succeed...which I did.
Our economic system isn't perfect, but its the best on Earth. The youger strivers will find their way, just like we did. The struggle is real, and it creates the top 1% of America's future. Believe in capitalism...believe in America...believe in the young Americans ability to make capitalism work for them.
Men are simply not motivated to work. The reasons for this are complex, but to put it simply, they don't feel that the rewards are worth it anymore. I mean, who can blame them? Men today have no community, no access to productive activities, no opportunities for love and affection, no mentors, and no 'initiation rites.' So what are they doing instead? They are becoming neets, spending 12 hours a day in front of a screen.
What? Why do men have no community? No access to productive activities... why not? No opportunities for love and affection?
What do you think has happened that has crippled half the human race to the point that they can only lay paralyzed on their couches staring at a screen? And why don't I know anyone in this situation??

Poorer. The guy signing my checks earns a lower salary. The guy backing the guy signing the checks, thinks that he's wealthier, because he owns more real estate... but he has no [expletive] clue.

In my personal experience, size of salary correlates strongly with thumb-up-assedness. The more that the digit is busy in the posterior, the more digits in my paycheck. By contrapositive, the hardest jobs that I did, were also the least-paying.
It hasn’t been 5 years since covid. But, even so, the states have their own rule. After sitting around for 5 plus years you’ll then have accumulated enough chronic medical conditions to get on “disability.”

And it the USA they have about 70% of all wealth. That's the problem, over the last 50+ years the US has become less progressive in its tax policy and the rich pay proportionally less than ever.
MAGA, let's go back to the taxation policies of the 50s and 60s that allowed America to be great.

Definitely poorer. Most jobs (not all I've had) the customers pay for everything. The people paying or buying pay the bills, not owners.
