Of course a desk job would be a lot less physical than slugging around a 30lb bag of tools from boat to boat.

Combination of factors. Now more than ever adults over 25 are moving back in with their parents. Hundreds of thousands more have gone to social media to become “celebrities” or “models”…IG, Only Fans, YouTube etc.

And when you ask them what qualifications they have to demand high wage. They got angry.

Someone has to be in charge and the husband is the natural choice.

That doesn't mean he should not listen to his wife, simply that he must have final say.

I am guessing you are not married. I am guessing you are having trouble finding a suitable woman to marry.

Look at your own attitudes to find out why.

I honestly don't understand this. The argument down political lines usually goes something like this:

Red: They are getting money from the government. Covid relief is still ongoing, and people would prefer that over working. Its crippling the country.
Blue: Corporations are not paying people what they are entitled to and thus people aren't working for these deplorable places anymore.

The comments under the article are pretty much all over the place, with many loons. Reminding of a forum I know and love :-)

So which is true? maybe a mixture of both? I just have a hard time believing that people won't work and think they can make more from the government. Which I haven't seen. My brother can't work (medical). He gets $800 a month. Even in good times it doesn't let him live all too comfortably at all. Nor should he. He has a 1 bedroom apt in the a "low rent" help area. Has to work with community support often to get meals on wheels, recycled clothing, etc.

I don't know any able bodied/minded males that won't work. I'm sure they are out there though.

Thoughts?
I do know a few guys who have kids who are in their 20's/30's and the kids seem to just want to chill That was from the early days of Covid. Some are doing gig work (Uber), or cash work, and covering the bills. But what kind of existence is that?

They are becoming neets, spending 12 hours a day in front of a screen.
For the generation that were just entering the workforce in the financial collapse, I can somewhat understand the frustration. If they are paying attention to the news, they should turn it off. We are entering a very strange time in this country.

Very true. I'm not sure I have been anywhere recently that isn't hiring, and by hiring, they probably don't care what you look like or what your skill set is. But it requires that THEY LOOK FOR WORK. That first step off the couch is sometimes the hardest.

Just curious; how old were you when you decided you hated all men and would devote your life to bashing them?

Mike showed that no matter how awful your job was, there was someone with a worse job.

I'm 60+ and still working and I somewhat agree with them. I chose to work with the rigged system rather than fight it, however I understand their plight.
do you have examples of these ...

"oligarchs" who are...

"making billions" ...

and "paying zero taxes"...

and "hoarding real estate"?

I'm sure these people you refer to can find work out in a cornfield scaring away crows.
