You say that as if Israel is looking for peace by cluster bombing and continued illegal settlements, barriers, apartheid checkpoints, etc
Israel using cluster bombs? Where?

Oh, btw, those barriers and checkpoints are to keep out the homocide bombers trying to get into Israel and blow themselves up - taking innocents with them.

Maybe they should just step aside and let them through?

The whole country was not claimed, lots of it was empty. Lots more was purchased. Moreover, native Americans are full citizens and have an opportunity to litigate treaty claims. Not nearly the same thing.

White south Africans had all that, but they still did not have the right to rule, and they no longer do, you've noticed.

To be honest any politican who dares to question Israel will be strung up by the all-powerful Israeli & Jewish lobbies and their political career will be destroyed.

There was some quote in the book, 'The Israeli Lobby' by some lobbyist of one of the ultra-powerful Jewish-American pro-Israel organizations that had him gloating about how he could write something pro-Israel on a napkin and have the entire Congress sign it within hours.

These people have nearly complete control over our government and its institutions and I don't see it ending anytime soon. Like someone else said, how many Americans must fight and die for Israel?

BBC NEWS | Middle East | Israeli cluster bomb use 'legal' (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/7159569.stm - broken link) (here Israel tries to justify their use).

Those bombers would not be there if Israel did not set-up checkpoints on the illegally occupied (as said by the U.N, Geneva, and international law) West Bank.

I believe the ANC acted similarly in apartheid South Africa. The government called it 'terrorism' too, and apartheid South Africa was not even a tenth as heavy-handed as the Israelis.

Do you honestly expect people to not fight people who are illegally occupying their land? The Israelis put in illegal settlements, checkpoints, roads, etc and don't expect the native inhabitants to fight back against the occupier? lol.

Arabs living in Israel are eligible for Israeli citizenship and voting rights.

Oh please. How naive to think that if Israel did not have barriers and checkpoints that the homocide bombers would forego their deadly missions. What did the bombers do in the past? Walk right to the nearest bus or restaurant and detonate.

Yes. And all the rest of them are flat-out ****ed, which is why they tend to do things like blowing up pizzerias.

Israel has targeted government/security forces facilities. They SHOULD do it with overwhelming force. You know, the Powell doctrine?

Oh, you know. The hundreds of thousands of bombs that look like anything but bombs were dropped on southern Lebanon in 2006 and have resulted in the deaths and injuries of dozens of children. Israel still refuses to hand the Lebanese government or Hezbollah a map of where it dropped these cluster bombs, and the United Nations can only do so much to defuse them.
