I just don't want to hear anyone refering to a book composed entirely of fairy tales when they are supposed to be leading our country (or at least a state in our country)
Are you just as opposed to that devout Christian now occupying the White House as our President?

Very good. I almost never watch the State Of The Union speech, but this one had my attention about 80% of the time.

HAHAHAHAHA. Restating what he had already said a million times. Not mentioning once the trials about to take place at ground zero. "Common Sense" projects? What the hell kept him from putting this kind of stuff in place over the past year?!?! Nothing has changed.

Glad you feel refreshed.

Its like a coach giving a halftime speech to his team when they are down 35 points. What’s it really worth? I’m glad you guys "feel" better.

Helps to keep the poll honest.

It lets you know when it's being overrun by brand new members who join just to post in the poll. That's happened to other polls recently at CD.

I thought Obama spoke from the heart tonight.

He wasn't speaking like a politician.

He was speaking a man who deeply wanted to solve problems which have plagued our nation for decades.

He wasn't spending all of his time pointing fingers at one party or another.

He basically said that all politicians - both Republicans and Democrats - need to stop bickering amongst themselves, and start working to actually solve the problems facing our country.

Even Republicans were applauding during many of his comments.

I thought the speech was fantastic. Possibly the best one I've ever heard.

He said that to make small business owners think he cares about them. The UHC bill, that he so desperately wanted to pass, would not only put people employed by SB out of work, it would shut some SB down.

He "touched" on every other subject under the sun to reel people in. He's a salesman. He's out of touch with what "the people" want. We and he saw that very clearly in MA.

He did nothing other than cover his pompous behind while trying to save all the dem seats up for election in 2010.

I give it a 1----based on the lack of grammatical errors.

To those who rated the speech a "1", what could he have said differently to get you to give him a "2"?
