Congress Looks for Answers After Gulf Oil Spill - US News and World Report

$3.00 per gal for gas now......I can't wait for summer time.


This is totally screwing up the fishing/shrimp/clam/oysters.

The Federal Government is so big, but where is it when when we really need it?????

those are some good points keith roe......
where the hell are they......
do they even care......
what is the oil company doing about this disaster....
you just wait till it hits the coast of south florida and ruins tourism......
all hell will break loose then....
typical,,,,,reactive instead of proactive....

It is like so many things in our country....there is always all this micro-managing to justify position....but no one is ever really takes responsibility or is in charge of the big picture.

The people who have expert knowledge in the drilling field are already there doing their best.

more important question is, if this oil spill would have been cuba, venezula or russias fault, would there have been as big an upcry from enviromentalists and politicians and have congressional meetings concerning whose fault it was or wasnt?

They can't stop the flow so the next best thing to do is hold hearings so they can blame someone else and wash their hands of this mess.

If this oil destroys the southern coasts many Americans will be effected..many.
