Jason Pierre Paul just signed a 4 year extension worth $62 million. I wonder how they are under the cap at this point.

Supposedly, they were close to not being under, but the way they structured JPP's deal supposedly gave them a small amount of relief. Last I saw, that put them around $14M under. But that is what I saw right after the deal--Im sure the "capologists" will give a clearer figure in the next few days.

I can honestly say that I am tired of the Giants playing the Cowboys in Dallas on opening day...

I agree with you but I'm not real happy with this year's Thanksgiving Day Game in DC either!

Glade they seem to be smarter with the veterans in pre season.

Yes.

I believe WR Roger Lewis Jr is going to play himself right off the roster with his mistakes in the Steeler preseason game...

Even before all of this Elliot stuff, I feel that the Giants will win the NFC East. The Giants have a talented squad and could challenge my Dirty Birds.

I agree...but it must be the guaranteed ratings and super large fan bases. But every year tho...

Hopefully Boys will start out with a win even w/o Elliott!

Right, save that until at least week 9. Besides, the last time these two teams played in week 17 was the 2011 season.

I think the Giants season is simple, and I will probably repeat it a few times as the season goes along: The offensive line, specifically LT Erick Flowers. IF the line blocks, well, even average, and gives Eli time and RBs holes, the Giants (with health, of course) will be serious contenders in the NFC. Deep playoff run contenders, possible SB.

If not, this all goes up in smoke, and they are a 9-7 or worse team.

Yep, overall it is a little more complex than that, but I really believe that is what I think it is going to come down to for the Giants in 2017.
