Why do I get the feeling Bill Belichick is going to be the Giants' next head coach?

They interviewed 6 guys..my money is on Patricia, but if he's the guy, they cannot come to contract terms with him until after the playoffs...

That wouldn't bode well for the rest of the division.

I don't think so. The Giants don't do the one guy is basically GM/HC thing, and Belichick is going to want that, if he was really serious about leaving the Pats...

The Giants getting Nate Solder is huge. That automatically makes next year's line better than last season's. Now a true re-shuffle of the line can take place.

Not an pro bowl guy but still an upgrade , with the JPP trade the Giants can improve this team quickly. The #2 spot can really shape the Giants for the next ten years if they don't blow it.

True...but huge upgrade. The difference from Flowers to Solder is a huge chasm.

So do you think the rumors to trade OBJ are real or just a threat to get him to wake up?

Yes to both questions. He's kind of a poison to the team off the field (and even on the sidelines for that matter), but you can't deny the amazing talent. If NY gets a good enough deal in return from another team I think they would jettison him.

This guys ego knows no bounds. I wonder about whether his parents encouraged this attitude or even tried to humble him in the very least. His mom grew up 90 miles from where I'm at in little Windom, Minnesota which is a very conservative area. I doubt she's anything like her over the top son, but I could be wrong.

IMPO, it's a threat but I would not mind if they do,I am just tired of his crap. He is great ,he has talent but to me...he just is not worth it.If you do trade him you get something for him at least a # 1
