The 49ers are a physical smash mouth team. You cannot just bump the running backs and have them go down like in a pro bowl game. You have to hit hard and be persistent Brock Purdy is a good passer

Then there is Andy Reid, Patrick Mahommes and Taylor Swift's Boyfriend on the Chiefs who ALWAYS seem to find a way to win

So Yes, it is going to be a good game.

And even better because there are no Patriots, Buffaloes, Bears, Chargers, Cowboys or Buccaneers involved in it.
I think it will be an interesting matchup between 2 of the best offensive schemers in the game today. SF has not been stopping the run very well lately (even though Wilkes did make some changes at half to shore up their run D in the 2nd half after they were gashed in the 1st), so I would expect to see a heavy dose of Pacheco/Edwards Hillaire. I am really surprised that Baltimore came out with such an ineffective offensive game plan against KC - that was a complete failure by their OC. And then the Ravens completely unraveled in the 2nd half with too many boneheaded plays and personal fouls.

My favorite teams make it to the SB. Its gonna be a great game (hopefully). The high points are usually the commercials. I have been a 49ers fan since the mid 70's, before the Bill Walsh years. I like KC, Mahomes, whose drafting was facilitated by the Bills trading down, is the best QB in ages and super fun to watch. Andy Reid is one of the all time great coaches. They have navigated the modern cap space as good as any team. I like them both and will enjoy the game no matter who wins. Tough luck Detroit and Baltimore but those are the breaks.

100% Agree. Buffalo v Detroit would have been awesome.

So in the Taylor Swift Bowl, two male acts with so little talent that they electronically modify their voices are doing the halftime show while Taylor Swift sits in the VIP booth with gratuitous camera shots every 30 seconds.

I'll tune in for a bit mostly because I want to see if Paramount+ streaming quality is better than the pathetic feed I get for CBS Patriots games. The whole country has 4K panels and broadband.

The last game it was a total of 44 seconds, not every 30 seconds. Won't be much more during the SB....

I was hoping to see the Lions in the Superbowl but they choked a big lead and blew it. Dan Campbell should have taken those points in the 3rd instead of playing hero ball. Once they failed to convert on the 4th down conversion the momentum completely shifted. Not to mention that bum wide receiver dropped two crucial passes. Way to go Lions.
I was thinking the same thing. And (no offense hard-working folks in San Fran) can we just have a working class market (Detroit) NFL team in the 'Bowl once in awhile? The Kansas City region is ok, but San Fran and these big market teams always in the super Bowl... ho hum. And wasn't it KC vs. SFO like last year or a few years ago? Would like to see mid sized market teams getting in. KC SFO is just boring. Yeah yeah, we know. Mr. Taylor Swift-Kelse, and Mahomes. Yay. Brock Purdy- yay. Rant over.

The Eagles were just in it last year.

The Super Bowl participants have never been overwhelmingly 'big market.'

There's never been a New York/Los Angeles or a Chicago/Los Angeles Super Bowl. Or a New York/New York Super Bowl.

I HATED the following dynasties:

GS Warriors
Alabama Tide
New England Patriots/Brady

I LOVE this one. Why? Because I like Mahomes.

I hope he wins 5 more rings, just enough to be considered the GOAT.

(This is how stupid Lebrone James fans sound, but I feel that way about Mahomes)

I finally found a dynasty I can root for. Taylor Swift sucks, but Mahomes is awesome.
