Of course. But you can go 1-15 and still not lose your job if you are in your first or second season as GM. But eventually you have to start winning. Whaley has not put terrible teams on the field and that is why he has managed to stick around for four years or so. But if he wants a 5th or 6th year this team will have to produce a playoff birth or a winning season at the least.
How about that schedule? Four of the final five games all in the division? I can see it now. Bills 8-3 going into week 13. Finish 1-4 and miss the wild card at 9-7.
