So much to do before Thanksgiving. Don’t feel like doing any of it.

I hate cutting prepared rotisserie chicken. It's so messy and I don't like to touch it.

I don't like traditional Thanksgiving food and will actively complain about it to anyone who will listen.

I know that feeling so well!

I had tons of stuff to do yesterday so instead of doing it, I sat around and made "Woman yelling at cat" memes.

I bought an exercise bike to make my weak legs strong but have failed all attempts to assemble it because my legs are too weak to kneel down to do it.

This why we can't have nice things.

Haha!

And then to add insult to injury, I forgot to close the outdoor umbrellas and the wind knocked one of them down! I've already broken two this year so far.

OK, so this was my FWP today:

I usually put up three Christmas trees. Why? I don't know - to punish myself in this life for something I probably did in a past life, who knows?

Anyway, so we moved a few months ago, and I clearly recall seeing these expensive ass ornaments that I've been collecting for years, for what I call my "pretty tree," which is color coordinated and looks actually sophisticated. It's all musical instruments and birds and musical notes, all in coordinated colors. It's quite lovely.

So apparently I put them someplace "special." So of course I can't find them. Pretty sure I'll find them sometime oh, around May.

I didn't want to put up three trees anyway. As it is, I put up two - one is all the family ornaments from decades and decades of collecting - it's not particularly beautiful but it's nostalgic. It's a fake tree. It does have some killer lights on it and it's pretty big. It's in the dining room window so all the lights do look pretty from the street. Then I bought a real tree that is adorable - short and squat and perfectly shaped, and that's the tree that I put all our vintage glass ornaments on. I LOVE IT. It's short and cute so it's on the hearth by the fireplace. Perfect place to catch on fire.

I don't know where I would have put that third tree anyway.
