MA, yes I do!
We gotta do it.
You still owe me a dinner - remember? Oooops
I'll DM you and set something up. I have a lot going on right now. Daughter going off to college to get her masters and a few other things that has me quite pre-occupied.

Yesterday, I fished with my dog off my dock. I caught 3-4 redfish (respectable, but not keeper size). One of the redfish which was a good size, did not have the trade-mark black spots next to its tail. Today, I'm going to fish off the dock again, and plan on having a little snapper fish fry. In case I fail, I have some hamburger as my back-up plan.

Oh, and I have like 50 fishing rods most are in perfect condition. During the past couple years I keep buying new ones, and then immediately messing up one of the eyelets, the tip, or something. I took a couple of them over to Becky (at Rio Villa Bait and Tackle ((on Rio Villa in Punta Gorda a block of 41, just past Laishley Marine store), and had them repaired. One of the middle eyelets broke one day, and I just cut it off and continued fishing. I took it over, they repaired it so well, you can't even tell it wasn't original. I have several more in the same state of various minor damage, some pretty expensive poles (I took the cheaper ones to get fixed first to see how they did). Now, I am going to bring over a few at a time, until I have them all in great condition. It wasn't expensive - it was like $3.00 each eyelet or tip that needed to be replaced. When you consider how much a new rod costs - its a great deal.

I know that Alan Ogle is the best Penn repair guy in SWFL. He picks up and drops off repair needs at Becky's. He's done my stuff. He's likely who did yours. HH you are welcome by me. BH, I'm quite sure this little off-shore restaurant will settle our score.

Sounds good! Sent you a DM, if that's OK - we are on! ;-)

Yes, Alan has repaired a number of reels of mine over the years. He is really good! The rods that just need new tips - Becky repairs them right there on the spot - in 3 minutes - she showed me how - its simple. The eyelets that are in the middle of the rods need to spin, and the epoxy needs to spin while curing, so he does them and it takes more than a day to accomplish from what I understand.

since the restaurant is "off-shore" will I need water shoes and a swimsuit?
