Went to the game against Chicago last night. Sloppiest game I've seen in years. Canes took entirely too many penalties but prevailed for a 7-0 start to begin the season.
Well, I expect a chippy game with penalties on Wednesday night in Chicago, too.
Walking with swagger, which was missing for too many years.
Boy what a nerve-wrecker today but they got it done. Jarvis gets his first ever point in his first ever game. Still undefeated and the last team at that, as the Panthers lost last night in Boston.
Coyotes are playing for pride at this point.
They gave it all and worked the Canes hard. I felt lucky to get out of it with a regulation win.
On Pesce's goal, heads hung immediately, and several guys left the ice hands on knees, looking straight down.
I feel for them. Failure is one thing, but a steady diet has to be exhausting.
I noticed that too. Credit to them, they fought hard today and what I saw from them a couple of nights ago, they try to compete. Fans love draft picks, players don't, those draft picks take their jobs.
Hopefully the Coyotes pick up a win in Philadelphia (their next opponent).

Yes, I know that it has but based on the TV guide...........nada. Not even national coverage.
How are Canes fans watching games on TV this year? As a Bruins fan I'm enjoying getting to watch games on ESPN+ since I already had the Hulu/Disney+ package but I'm guessing there are blackout restrictions for locals

I see folks on the Canes FB Fan group talking about using VPNs to watch on nhl.tv,
Also streaming on nhl66.ir , an Iranian-run gambling site running illegal sports streams, which are not illegal to watch.

Maybe this is a misread on my part, but the NHL is back on ESPN and now is on TNT. If anything it should be easy to find out of market games, especially if you stream ESPN+.
Canes are still on Bally Sports.
